The best idea here is ordering to share, so you can taste many dishes. And it is super cheap.

Cheap, excellent Thai food in the heart of Queens. Flavors are delightful. Don't expect great customer service. Just go for the food. And be brave to try them all.

Roasted duck over rice is delicious and way more filling than it looks. My husband really enjoyed his crispy pork belly.

Soft shell crab is great! Massaman curry is good but nothing great. My friend got the crab fried rice and it sucked- avoid. No mango sticky rice. Service sucks btw! Drain ur water glasses for a waiter

The crispy watercress salad is a good appetizer, and paired with a dish you will be stuffed, even if you share the appetizer. Note: "mild"= spicy and "spicy"= hardcore spicy

Forget pokpok. THIS is the best, authentic Thai food you can get in New York. Try the raw shrimp or a salad for something tangy and spicy.

Come to Sripraphai for a chance to try Isan Thai cuisine. Dishes are spicy, sweet, and bold - you've been warned. Order the somtum, the khao soi, and the crispy watercress salad.

    Lori Luo · August 11, 2014
  • Fred C.

Avoid the watercress salad, it's fried. Get the larb. It's the most refreshing pile of meat I've ever had. Also, the new Foursquare sucks.

If you like Thai and you don't know about this place you better check it out. The steamed calamari Thai spicy is ridiculous. Can't go wrong anywhere.

Everything, but the papaya salad is especially worth dying for. If you're not into crazy spice, be sure to ask how spicy the dishes are and ask them to tone it down. Otherwise, you'll burn.

Best Thai in NYC. Pass on Papaya salad and go for the Crispy Ground Catfish. Not what you expect but it's a seriously flavorful dish, and highly addicting.
