The emergency care admitted me in under a minute (it might have just been a lucky time to have gone) and they treated me very well.

The labor and delivery nurses are horrible! The postpartum nurses are good but this hospital is horrible at lactation and would rather push a bottle on the baby. No after hours lactation resources!

Why do some doctors prefer Brackenridge? This hospital is so much better.

If you must eat in the cafeteria, try the Starbucks cafe for healthy options. Everything else is deep fat fried. Disappointing selections and poor excuse for their artery clogging menu.

Maximum 2 visitors bedside in the NICU, The McDonald Family Room is a great place for grandparents and visitors to wait while you're with your little one.

Nice facilities, and the wait can be shorter than expected. Of course, it depends on the doctor and the individual practice.
