111 E. Chestnut
Good spot for a meeting, *if* you can snag a table.
The staff is always friendly and welcome!
Excellent prompt service this morning
And the call this place Fourth Church Annex, as there always seems to be a pastor or staffer having coffee with a parishioner.
Just remodeled Feb 2013. Beautifully done, great updates, more seating.
I work on michigan and I love stopping here beforehand, it's rarely busy. I've never referenced it as the Ditka Starbucks, I think ditkas is a waste of space and is put there solely for tourists.
Drink with your mouth not your nose.
Locals do not call this Ditkabucks. Perhaps a suburbanites do, but locals, we don't think much about Ditkas restaurant bcuz we live here.
Not feeling coffee? There is a nice assortment of Naked Juice Smoothies to get your day going.
More of a commuter Starbucks than a sit down and chill one. Good, fast service.
There's only two (sometimes three) people working here during morning rush. I don't get it. Go to the Chicago Ave location instead.
Can you say drinkability! My Americanos are always the perfect temperature. I don't have to wait a hour to start drinking it.
Slow customer service sometimes, regardless of a lot of customers or not.
Awesome chai recommendation!
Love this location for being off the beaten path. Easy to find a table and outlets while avoiding touristmania from Mag Mile.
Not the fastest moving service when you're in a rush. Otherwise, it's on the smaller size and easy to get a lot of work done
Always crowded, hard to find a seat & it the temperature is always off, not to mention it's loud
personally, riffing on wayne l.'s "tip," I call this place "ditkabutts." because occasionally I can see dabutt from the window. I do like the lattes here. doesn't feel like a jail of capital.
Coffee here & Coach Mike Ditka steaks across the streets, it's a beautiful thing. =)
excellent location to get work done....
Some locals call this place "DitkaBucks" because it is across the street from Mike Ditka's restaurant. If you sit by the windows, it is possible to occasionally see Da Coach picking up dinner.
Great neighborhood Starbucks. More locals than Oak St.
i'm probably going to be something more than a mayor here.
