Decent sidewalk patio, but baristas overwhelmed with traffic even on a weekday afternoon. If you just need a quick water/soda there's a snack cart right across the street.

Conveniently located but plugged with annoying tourists using the loo. Outlets are a pain to reach unless you like crawling on the floor.

    Kelsey Hayes · August 9, 2014
  • Marina M.

This Starbucks is good! Apart from good service this is a savior place for those struggling to find a WC in this stupid city

    Marina Mitsiuk · June 22, 2014

Visiting from out of town and this Starbucks rock. They moved about 50 people in 10 minutes. Great teamwork

    Rick B · April 24, 2014

If you ask someone to repeat their order by saying "what happened?", then I can safely assume you don't give 3 shits about your job.

    Nicolas CARRANZA · April 9, 2014

too crowded and rare places to sit but there are many nice pastries. Chocolate croissant is one of those

Im never coming back to this location. It's horrible. Slow, rude and too small.

I truly love this Starbucks!! This is my Starbucks family. They know my drink when I walk in the door :)

I walked in on a Sunday morning and things seem to be just fine. It's right next to the Archives metro and has a lovely seating outside. There were very few customers and the service was pretty quick.

    Abhinav Kishore · August 25, 2013
  • Lily N.

Met my first actively rude barista there on Sun morning. Check your coffee order, they also messed like up.

    Lily N · July 28, 2013
  • Belinda L.

Dirty bathrooms, trash everywhere and very few outlets to plug in your phones. :(

    Belinda Long Ivey · July 15, 2013

This Starbucks is dirty, rude and slow

    Charlie Kerr · July 5, 2013
  • Irish T.

These are the worst employees ever, constantly complaining that they have customers.

    Irish Tigger · June 11, 2013
  • Robert P.

I concur with the others, rude cashiers , trash all over the tables

    Robert Palmer · June 4, 2013

They are slow, rude and some use language that sailors ley alone children should hear.

    Irish Tigger · May 20, 2013
  • Laura R.

For those Starbucks junkies. Every time I come here I am always happy just by how well I have been treated. I have come here almost every day as of late and always my order is remembered

    Laura Ricart · May 10, 2013

Best Starbucks I have ever been too. The staff has excellent manners, very polite. A warm environment for all that love coffee.

  • Rebecca M.

The service here will make you want to kill yourself! :(

    Rebecca M. · November 14, 2012
  • Melissa P.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered at Starbucks. They don't listen when taking your order & act like the line is a cattle call. You're better off walking two blocks up 7th to the next one.

    Melissa Plummer · September 10, 2012
  • Evans K.

Their microwave must be broken, because my sandwich came to me cold, but I SAW them heat it up. I don't get it.

    Evans Knight · July 10, 2012
  • r D.

One of the worst-run Starbucks DC. Also, your wallet might get stolen (ours was). Then you can really enjoy the staff; they'll berate you for asking about it, adding embarrassment to your pain!

    r Dave · July 2, 2012
  • Greg K.

    Check hours. Closes early.

    Greg Kunnath · June 29, 2012
  • Chanele N.

They seem properly staffed, but there's always at minimum 2 people not working while the others pick up the slack.

    Chanele Nine · June 13, 2012
  • Alain D.

Sadly enough I have to confirm all the above comments. Dirty terrace, unfriendly and inefficient service.

    Alain Dewael · May 12, 2012

Staff is very rude. Not a great start to my morning

    Wendy Johnson · April 30, 2012

Most of these tips are from cranky assholes. You try working morning rush hour at a Starbucks!

    Britt B · February 7, 2012
  • Carina H.

Unbelievably slow. Almost ready to abandon my drink.

    Carina H · December 14, 2011
  • Jack H.

ATTENTION: Avoid this Starbucks unless you're in love with frustration and/or speak Swahili. The people who work here are utterly inept.

    Jack H · November 5, 2011
  • Gary K.

They are way slower than other Starbucks, and the store is a good bit smaller.

    Gary Karr · October 7, 2011
  • Ronald S.

These guys need to understand that when I say no room for cream I mean, give me all of my coffee. I'm paying for coffee that's what I want.

    Ronald Sykes · September 26, 2011
  • Tara H.

Don't go here if you're in a rush.

    Tara H. · September 11, 2011
  • Tiffany B.

Very busy, but despite the other tips on dirtiness it is actually clean. Still understaffed though.

    Tiffany Bailey · September 9, 2011
  • hollis

This location closes entirely too early! Service is getting better but still not up to Starbucks standards!

    hollis · August 26, 2011

Can never make a passion tea order right

    Mike T. · August 26, 2011

They love to blast reggae here. But if you love the riddims (or bring headphones), chill out at this Starbucks close to the National Archives.
