People tend to check in during these times:
Biglietterie e Ufficio Informazioni al piano terra, nella galleria di testa. Inoltre, presso i binari centrali (9, 10, 11 e 12) è attivo un desk mobile
Direct connections to Rome, Pisa, Venice and Milan. All kinds of shops are available. SMN basilica is very near.
Are there any ice cold drinks around? Hhmmm...
The best way to travel within Italy is to take the train! Very convenient and fast. You can book your tickets online!!
Friendly staff. Bravo
Like Hogwarts Style😜
Exstatic historical design elements
Bye, bye Florence!
There's a mall downstairs with many shops. For moving around in florence U can buy bus and tram tickets from tobacco shops.
The best railway station to get into Florence. Near every major tourist destination
Unlike the Rome Train station, those wanting to grab last minute souvenirs will be disappointed. Get all shopping done in city.
Head underground. It's faster.
Be sure to validate your train ticket before boarding as the "inspectors" try to con you of "additional fines" when you're on board. Very bad allocation of vital information, rude and racist staff.
Depart from Florence station to Rome! The que for ticket can be time consuming ( take a number and wait) I mean literally WAITED for nearly 40 mins until being called.Or use the machine purchase (PIN)
it was a quick stop wish we saw this amazing city 😞
Easy walk to most hotels in historic center
It seems like a nightmare. But tickets at the machines! Get a Firenze pass next to church on right hand side for quick and easier access to museums and sites it's worth if it u are going to go around!
First class is so worth it!
Yay!!' I am back😊
Always Ask if you are not sure where your Binary/train is... Don't be shy.
Watch out for pickpockets and gypsies!
Take in the the Art Deco interior and signage.
The Piazza del Stazione (adjacent to the Burger King) is where an array of hotel and tour shuttles make their pickups and drop offs.
Beware of swindlers helping you to carry luggage on the train and then ask you for money after their 'service'.
Very hard to find parking spot....
It's hot in here ☺
I took a train 'ITALO'! There isn't any space for luggage T.T only on your head(seat). Free wifi! Clean!
Watch your valuables kids
Avoid booking train tickets in station as they have this stupid long line with waiting.
Exit to the left for access to bus stops outside McDonald's!
You may decide to visit the Chianti area join our Chianti Wine Tour make your online reservation on http//www.chiantiwinetour.com
The screen will show the final destination of your train - not each stop in between. I ur on Trenitalia then look at the screens that scroll that show you each stop to make sure ur on the right train!
If you don't need to take all your luggage with you, leave it at the luggage deposit on platform 16. It's cheap and safe - and lets you move around more easily.
There's a free bathroom in the food area. Look for the Golden Arches.
In case of strike check if your train is guaranteed:
Check out the frescoes by Ottone Rosai!
Caution when you stamp your ticket, because it is not always easy and you may miss the train!
Be sure to validate your ticket before boarding the train if you don't have a seat reserved. Fees will be charged for failing to do so.
frecciarossa 1st class is worse than moscow region trains when all these ppl get in and try to find their seat D:
The start point to florence!
Just another railway stations, beware of pickpockets.
Don't try to buy your ticket at a machine last minute unless you have a pin for your credit card! Take the bus out front. Same price as train and you have an attendant to buy ticket & AC on the Bus!
Don't talk to the gypsies
Since May 2012 you can take ItaloTrain to reach Rome, Bologna, Florence, Milan. Cleaner, newer, cheaper than FrecciaRossa
Go and get the new Ítalo!
Non viaggiate con trenitalia! Do not travel with trenitalia!
Buy your ticket online then print it at the station. www.trenitalia.com
Freccia Club rooms relocated to main station building at head of platforms.
The station is also used by regional trains on lines connecting to Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, Viareggio, Siena, Poggibonsi, Arezzo, Grosseto, Prato, Bologna, Faenza, etc...
