Lots of scammers and gypsies here. Always be mindful of your belongings and as much as possible, avoid letting them buy your ticket from the vending machines.

more than a train station! amazing place to spend time. You can either take a stroll around the shops making your way to the metro or grab a nice meal from the various restaurants at the food court.

For the first time it might seem a bit chaotic but at the end of the day one can find whatever is in need. I love Termini very much. Excellent panini, caffè is available at several stands!

the best way to save your money is to buy food and drink on the supermarkets: there are two. One is on the underground floor, under the steak house, the other on the 1 rail, 15 cent for water

If you want real food, check out the noodles and rice at W.O.K., which is 1 level below the main terminal floor. There's also a grocery and host of other shops down there.

Thoughts : Trains are not listed by number but by final destination :) Trains pull up about 15mins before departure. Frecciarossa 1st class is so worth it. Also beware of pickpockets.

The Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino is currently €14 per person each way as of 30th July 2013 - Apparently the most expensive train trip in Italy.. Still beats Londons Heathrow Express tho !

Termini like something out of the third world. Watch your wallet, get in, and get out quickly. And woe betide you if your train is scheduled for the far track.

The train to Fiumicino, 'Leonardo Express', leaves from platform 24. It's approx 2 minutes walk from the station entrance. Across to your right as you stand looking at the trains in front of you.

Two options to reach the airport. Trains (not often, takes 30min, €14) or private companies' busses (more often, takes 1h, €6) next to the station. Have a nice trip

There is luggage deposit in the basement, expect a cue, definitely in the morning or in high season. It's 6€ (for each item) for the 1st 5hours, afterwards 90ct per additional hour.

Plenty of ticket booths, Express trains depart from platforms 23/24. You must validate your ticket, even if you chose a time at the ticket machines or you can get a fine. Stupid rule.

Try to use the automatic machines to buy tickets and other information otherwise you will waste lot of time. And if you need to take metro take metro A from Repubblica o Vittorio Emanuele.

The leonardo express to the airport requires a ticket validation (which is not mentioned anywhere nor does anyone tell you about it) if you dont have it you get a 5 euro fine in the train.

So many shops and restaurants it feels almost like a decent airport. The only difference is random people trying to sell you a penny tour for 15euro.
