Alligator hot dog 👌🏻
Great boat tour of the river. Definitely worth it.
The tour narration is great. Skip the food. It's served cold and the options are very limited! This is supposed to be a jazz cruise the music is sporadic you'll be lucky to hear 3 songs 😏
Fun and scenic Mississippi River!
The evening dinner cruise scheduled for 7-9pm starts boarding at 6pm. If you've booked for the early sitting make sure you arrive for boarding at 6pm because they start serving once you've boarded.
Do the 11am cruise - NOLA is still sleeping that time and the cruise is not top busy. Sit on the left as the sights are on the left.
A good option to go through the almighty river while seeing the city and enjoying music jazz. There's a gift shop and a bar besides a restaurant.
I liked it. Bring Dramamine if you're prone to seasickness. And try to get on early to find seating
delicious fried catfish in the buffet!
Fun experience. If I were to do this again I wouldn't sign up for the 11AM seating; I'd do a later one. The food was pretty good overall though; I loved the okra. They sell other food on the boat FYI.
The evening jazz cruise is worth the money. Didn't care much for the food.
You have to do it , when you visit New Orleans. Steamboat is really great to feel the soul of the river.
You can check Your picture a online
With a real weel
Cruise may cancel due to fog, mediocre food.
Strong cheap drinks, nice ride on missippi, a bit over priced but one of last two fully functioning steamboats in USA. Go downstairs to see Thelma and Louise the two engines!
Ferry ride similar to Algiers Ferry.
Great pieces of jazz with Steamboat Stompers
Brunch at steamboat Natchez
Save your money. Take a picture of the boat and call it a day. My high school cafeteria had better food. 30 minute commentary followed by 90 minutes of silence instead of the promised music.
The boat goes trough the Mississippi. It's a magical ride!!
Who let the dog out seen from the boat later you can make à picture with thuis statue 😉
it's a steamboat so you have to :) the bloodys were really good
The jazz/dinner cruise was 3 hours...way too long. There isn't much to look at...but on the plus side, the buffet was really yummy!
Nice and relaxing, very informative. Drinks and lunch are just delicious.
Doing the lunch cruuse
The catfish and bread pudding is AMAZING!!!
The Mighty Mississippi
we didn't leave the dock but it was a blast - a bar under the calliope - was rough though - couldn't hear a thing
Love the leisurely ride on and music
A great way to see some of the Mississippi. The jazz band on board was fun and the bar tender was excellent!
The food looks like its from a cafeteria but ask for more right away because it's incredible. This place goes above and beyond for customer service.
They try to force you into getting your picture taken under the guise of security, before boarding. So it takes FOREVER to board.
Dinner and a show
Cruise the Mississippi on the paddle-wheeler, which departs from Toulouse Street Wharf. You’ll be treated to live jazz on-deck, and you can opt for lunch or dinner on board if you like. -Travel Editor
If you have the opportunity, definitely take the cruise and lunch.
On cold days find the Magnolia Room down low and sit by the window
If you're on the bottom deck when another boat approaches, be prepared to get wet!!!!
Annoying flute or horn music waiting in line!
The food was just ok. But it was fun to get a drink and cruise the mississippi
The vodka lemonade is yummy!
Come at least 45 minutes early on the weekends if you don't want to stand in the sun.
Really fun steamboat tour. Take it easy and listen to the jazz band as you cruise down the Mississippi! $24.50 a person w/out food.
Lunch cruise is nice and the food is definitely worth the $10 more.
It's date night on a boat, bitches!
City skyline at night on the way back to dock is gorgeous. Sit on left. Get engaged. Drink. Listen to music. Have fun.
