People tend to check in during these times:
Storefront for Art and Architecture is committed to the advancement of innovation in architecture, art and design. From its triangular ground-level space the size of an NYC subway car, Storefront offers exhibitions, artists talks, film screenings, conferences and publications.
If it's open, peek your head in. Always full of something interesting. (and when you're done head to La Esquina and pick up a rice milk and grilled corn!)
a totally under-the-radar gallery space for architecture exhibitions. The very unique space is worth a visit. The shows here are always thought-provoking and unique.
The facade of Storefront, a commissioned work by Vito Acconci and Steven Holl, transforms to articulate a relationship between interior and exterior space. If you're into architecture, get here now.
What a pleasant surprise!
The gallery-within-a-wall opens at sporadic times to showcase avant-garde exhibits based on world-wide architecture.
A tiny space with an interesting background...Don't be afraid to ask the people inside about it and to move the panels!
Designed by Steven Holl, all the panel son the facade are hinged and open in different ways, changing the building every time you play with them
This is pretty amazing. I always stop and stare when I pass by.
Cool stuff forever happening here .. and when your done get a taco at Esquina!

You'd never even know that this was here unless you passed by on a night when it's open.
