The BEST bbq i've had in a long time! Serrano cheese spinach and mashed sweet taters are to die for! Meat is MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! MUST STOP! Amazing and not badly priced! We will be back!

Mac & cheese, sausage, pulled pork, onion rings, sweet potato fries are all awesome! Ribs had a little too much fat on them for my taste, but I'm not much of a meat eater. Overall, awesome dinner!

1pm on a Sunday.Good, tender brisket. A bit less tasty and less hot than one would have liked but we didn't get there early 4.5/5 Ribs tasty 5/5. Tasty sausage () & nice mustardy potato salad (4.75/5)

Besides hosting killer bands on both stages and having excellent bbq, Stubbs is one of the best places to see live music in Austin. Give back to musicians by purchasing Texas Music Water at Stubbs!

If you are early to a show at the indoor venue, consider camping the set of stairs on the right hand side as you face the stage. It offers a place to sit while waiting and an elevated vantage later.

Went for Gospel brunch and wasn't at all disappointed. The food is so rich you feel the fantastic heart attack coming on, and the mimosas are perfectly flavored and fizzy. The music is insanely good!

Convert to the church of Stubb's gospel brunch Sundays. Load your plate up at the outdoor buffet. [$19] Be sure to make a reservation by 4pm Saturday (they have 11am or 1pm Sunday seatings). Amen.

The pork short ribs are great and the brisket was nice a tender. Mac 'n cheese is done right, fried okra is a good bet. Drown it all in Stubb's BBQ sauce and clean things up with a sweet tea.

There's a great spot under the stairs stage left, a corner of the concrete apron where the mixing board is set up. You're about a ft higher than the crowd. Duck through the narrow space nxt 2 stairs.

Great place to see a concert. The outdoor stage does get hot during the summer, and there is usually a line to get in, but it is a solid venue to see concerts. You can get nice and close

One of Austin's premier rhythm-and-grub joints, and it has damn good barbecue. The Gospel Brunch on Sundays has become so popular that reservations are a must for both seatings.

concert at the indoor stage? aim for the middle or right side of the stage (looking from the audience) unless you want to get smacked by equipment coming down the stairs, off the left of the stage.

Gospel Brunch: website is unclear. There are 2 seating times, 11 and 1. The Bloody Mary bar and other drinks are not included in the flat price. Good food and fun atmosphere, though!

Awesome concert venue and it's down the street from some pretty good bars. Drinks were a little pricey but that was to be expected, it had an awesome selection of alcohol though!

No doubt this is one of the better locations for BBQ. Restaurant style that is. The food is well prepared, well presented, cooked perfectly and very flavourful with quite good portions

Other places have equally great BBQ, but this place has great atmosphere. Go for dinner - after dark. The all you can eat plate is pricey ($17+), but go hungry and you will not be disappointed!
    Jeff Hewgley · March 13, 2010

The 2 or three meat option is a lot if food and gives more choices than the all you can eat. Everything is excellent & my favorite is the pork.

10 years of SXSW & i have only eaten at Stubbs once! Best venue for the larger acts. PLant yourself beside the lone Tree on the right side near the stage. Great vantage point and somewhere to lean!

If it's pouring down rain they will not allow you to enter the facility with an umbrella; even if it's unopened as to not obstruct views. There is nothing at the entrance depicting this "rule."

To sneak up front, go to the east bar, look to the right, and you'll see a walkway that’s usually guarded by a worker. No big deal! Just walk by, go around the balcony, and you’ll be up front! – Artur

make sure you have your whole party with you before you go to get seated, otherwise they will leave you in the hot sun waiting till your party all arrives. They won't even let you wait at the bar.

Get crash course in Austin culture @ Stubb's. Combines decent BBQ, good live music, cozy divey 512 beergarden vibe – but not best of either one. Very new venue, feels really old.

The spicy creamed spinach is INCREDIBLE! I loved the chopped beef. Fried okra is solid. The chicken jalapeno roll ups are a tasty little appetizer :)

Was not impressed. Definitely not as good as a place like salt lick. The brisket, mashed sweet potatoes and fried okra were all cold and rather bland. As an out of towner I was expecting better.

The food was not good at all. The collard greens was not even cooked all the way and the seasoning or lack of seasoning on the meats was not good This place is not worth it!!!.
