Sorrel mojito is everything
Great food @decent price
Food is over priced..... Service is slow....I have had better West Indian food for $5 a plate
Drinks on fleek! The rasta pasta is a must try.
Oxtails and stew peas. You need to come hungry as there is a lot of food. Not a fan of stewed cabbage though. Will try another veggie when I come back.
i tried to like this place...but the service sucks...the drinks are good tho
Great drinks - amazing food!
Jambalasi Salmon was very flavorful and had a nice spicy kick! Highly recommend.
Rasta Pasta is amazing! Great happy hour location just steps away from the Barclays Center! The coconut mojito is CLUTCH!
Always great food and drinks.
Wish it was more Trinidadian. I know the owner is a Trini so idk why she would get rid of pahlouri and add such American dishes
Sorrell martini, and jerk wings !
Oxtails...potato salad and callaloo!! #inthatorder
The braised Oxtail and Sorrell Mojito were fire !
Sorrel Martines are the bomb.
The best jumbo shrimp around, I live the sweet flavors.
Marlin the bar tender makes the best drinks
Good is great! Superb quality. Make reservations if you can. If not be prepared to wait, as it's a popular spot. Must try the Callaloo soup and Sorrel Martini!!!
One of my favorite restaurants. I love the Chris' Creole Shrimp. Definitely try their coconut rice. Yumm!
Jerk salmon is more sweet than spicy but good. Had fried plantains which were ok; mashed potatoes were delish. Passion fruit margarita was tasty.
I love their sorrel martini ( but with 10 Cane rum) and their jerk wings too
Ok Sugarcane you have redeemed yourself! Excellent bartender for the b'day girl!
Great food and atmosphere. Good music. Ok, but strong drinks. Long wait.
Don't come here for the service!! They're horrible!! But the FOOD.........AMAZING!!
Great food but super slow service.
Music is live! Feels like an old Caribbean party with all the old & new soca & reggae hits. Drinks are 👌👌! The Passion Fruit Margarita is a must!!
The fish cakes are full of flour, hardly any fish, start off with something else. Very very tight space and service isn't up to par. Drink are very good however. Food good but not AS EXCEPTIONAL.
Food was "okay" def over priced and horrible service!! Dont get their ribs or Salmon ( extremely dry)
Best jerk wings and sorrel martini (made with 10 Cane of course)
If you go on Sundays be there before 3 so you can be first in. .. and get the Sorrel Mojito delicious
Dorrell Mojito and braided oxtail with rice and peas are DELISH
It's small and dark but the food is always good.. The oxtails are excellent and the Calaloo.. Truni style not Jamaican is also good . The Sorrrel Mojito is the speciality and is excellent .
Service was horrible today. Food was good.
The food is amazing!!! Wish they had places like this in the MD/DC area. It's a small place so it gets crowded, but it's worth the wait!!! The sorrel mojito is delicious!!!
Awesome! But make a reservation
Very Trinidadian, good roti with curry mango and Carib beer
The food's good but the sorrel mojito solves everything!! :)
Hennessey and Sorrel, Jamaican's in Brooklyn. No other way
Love the callaloo and Mac pie. Ribs are decent...this is not a rib place so set ur expectations and you'll be satisfied. Bathrooms need to be cleaned much better during the day!!!
Friday night us poppin!!! Great dj!
The carribean rum punch was a little pricey but ohhhhh so good and worth it.
Chilling with my girlfriend, Fati over drinks!!!! TGIF!!!!
I always have a good time.
Nothing a Sorrel and White rum can't cure....
A bit overpriced for Brooklyn and as the name implies, lots-o-sugar. Nice and cozy Jamaican fusion food.
The sugarcane shrimp starter is amazing. The flavor is great and the side of plantains is the perfect amount of sweet. The mango mojito is good too!
Cool Chill Place... Had the Oxtails with Cabbage & Mac and they gave me a HEALTHY serving of Oxtails. For my drink I had a Jumbie (Hennessy & Sorrell) A MUST HAVE!
Delicious entrées (curried shrimp, roti, jerk chicken, oxtails). Great music on the weekends.
The best caribbean restaurant in NYC!!!
Service is mediocre at best. I sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came to the table & I was halfway thru my entree before my drink arrived. And no the place is not packed! #NeverToReturnAgain
