The "traditional" egg sandwich was good, but the chocolate bomb-oloni was the bomb! There isn't an excess of cream and the bread part is soft and chewy in a good way (for anyone Korean, 쫄깃해)
2015 James Beard finalist for Outstanding Baker - Jim Lahey
Everything is good here, my favorite would be the cookies.
Cortado and cauliflower flatbread
Zucchini pizza bread
2015 James Beard nominee for Outstanding Baker - Jim Lahey
Raspberry jam filled joy!!
Best place to get real bread! The coffee is also very good.
Lovely pastries and coffee! Good breakfast sandwiches too. Try it!
Good food. Need someone dedicated at the register, a bus boy and some hospitality training for the staff!
Panini çok iyi lezzetli
Canotto w/ brioche dough, gruyere, prosciutto, & mascarpone is my 1st pick of savory items. And for my fave sweet one, I'd take any 1 of their Canottos w/ bits of super-juicy & fresh seasonal fruit!
easy to overlook, but the espresso-based drinks here are outstanding. they know how to froth milk like any of those third wave guys.
Donuts! Get the vanilla!
Sourdough and whole grain Pullman loaves are chewy, pure tasting and great alone.
Tasty stuff but do NOT go if you're in any sort of a hurry. 20 minutes to make two sandwiches, no line ahead and 5 people behind the counter. C'mon people!
Ceci, a falafel stuffed with chickpea fritters, beets, kimchee, and pickled onions. They’re served on his elegant pizza bianca, a soft and chewy dough slicked with oil and dusted with salt
Bombolini is phenomenal. Also check out breakfast and lunch -- lovely egg sandwiches served on perfectly crusty fresh baguette.
amazing bread, sandwiches, and pizza
George was very kind. At 1:30pm they were out of vanilla cream bomboloni, & they told me it'd be an hour. I can't back at 2:45pm & it still wasn't ready, but George have me a complimentary pastry.
This place is amazing and the service is great! Na'Kita (sp) and Freddy are amazing and once they know your name they never forget it! George is pretty awesome too :-)
You can find bread from Sullivan St. Bakery at Babbo and Bistro Margot, but you can also get it from the source at the Hell’s Kitchen outpost.
bread master mind
Uovo brioche is delicious!
Don't get beer here! They serve them in tiny glasses and charge tax!
Egg sandwich with roasted tomatoes and pancetta ranks as one if the all-time bfasts. The bread in this place is hard to beat.
The best (real) Panettone ever in NYC
Pane d uovo with pancetta is my go to.
Great food, though a little pricey. Terrible experience though. They're so slow!
The last three times I got here end of day, they've been sold out of pizza. Just bake more!!
Chickpea fritter panino is the bestest
try their pizza, pork & peach panini, and get the bambolini
Best Bomboloni: The one filled with vanilla pastry cream is our favorite, but the chunky caramelized apple and raspberry are excellent as well.
Awesome egg dishes for brunch. Not the best service
Be prepared for slow service and staff confusion.
Delicious breakfast panini with eggs and crispy pancetta. And get a croissant, if only to marvel at the quantity of butter.
Best croissants I've ever had in NYC
The best pancetta breakfast sandwich ever!
Watermelon salad with mint, cherries, and scallions! Perfect summer treat (see photo) ☀🍉🍒
pizzas are always good. so is the mixed green salad w/ radish and fennel. wish it were a better work spot, though. laptops are ok, but no wifi. and current playlist would be better in spinning class.
Excellent breads and rolls! Try the Bobolinis!
Bobolinis are scrumptious!
Iced coffee is delish at a pretty penny ($5)
Amazing, simple, Italian sandwiches. Incredible.
Everything is really good, but make a point of trying the bombolini one day. the best, most pillowy, doughnut dough ever. Get it with the vanilla bean filling!
Commune is amazing!
It takes at least 15 min for them to make a sandwich. Not worth it
