The architecture for both side of check-in to & check-out from Malaysia are EXACTLY the same @_@ I was worried that I could be at the wrong side the first time I cam to Malaysia =.=

Please avoid to come on 2pm,10pm, 1 am, 3am, and 7am..on this time, the immigrations shifting their working staff.. if you do, please expect a little bit jam because most of the counter are close.

You go to Singapore this way, but the combination of bus companies making as much on the deal as pos and very very thorough passport officials makes for a very stressful 2hour cross over to Singapore.

You can never predict the human and vehicular traffic at one of the busiest border crossing points. Avoid holidays and the weekend if you are not the patient type.

To those who are working/studying in Singapore, pls be aware tht most counters with systems are required to key in data. So u do have to que & wait. Don't frown or grunt cz it ain't cool. Chillax~ :)

On the eve of any public holidays (especially in the evenings), the passenger arrival hall into Malaysia + passport check area can get extremely crowded and the queue can get very long.

For frequent Sgp travellers, it is better to apply for MACS if u're planning to save ppt pages. To apply, upon entry to Mys, at the escalator, turn right to the office along with 2 ppt-size photo.

If you want to get to Singapore you gotta leave really early! Gotta make haste! Don't head towards Singapore in the evening! The traffic will only get you to Singapore Customs after 2 hours..

Please do something about the queue-jumping heavy vehicles !! That is the main cause of jam after u get your passport checked !$

This is an unusual customs checkpoint in that all processing - in and out - go thru same gates. No signs. To head back to Singapore, stay right and head for Bus platforms A or B (Causeway Link buses).

Immigration officers not serious with the job. E.g. busy playing phones, smoking, delaying the traffic causing it to jam! Even stamp at a wrong page on my passport (wasting space)
