Doesn't matter what you ordered or how you ordered it, the waiter will bring whatever he chose to hear.

He puts cookies so you can eat it whey!!! That's the response I got from the server when I ordered a cookie and cream shake. He brought the cookies but forgot the shake!

Not sure I understand all the bad reviews. Food and service is great. It's a diner people. I make it a weekly ritual of mine to come here and get an omelette with goat cheese and spinach.

Try the Strawberry Lemonade - Perfect on a sweltering day. Real blended strawberries.

I wanted to like this place especially since so many others don't. But I can't. Service was ok, but I found a stick in my food :(

This is my favorite diner in the city. Yes, it's cramped, yes it's rushed, but the food is always delicious and exactly what you expect when you come to a diner. Go to the W Village if you want fancy!

Worse service ever. Hot open sandwich us not meat on a plate... and then you have the nerve to argue with me about it? Fuck that.

People say this place is bad, but I had no complaints! Great atmosphere and tasty breakfast.

Just noticed the C grade in the front window!!! You'd think the waiters would be friendlier

    Natalie Suarez · July 17, 2011

Well, they have a 'C' right now. So they have that going for them.

I was a customer for 14 years until tonight. I walked in at 12:45am (place closes at 1am) to grab a muffin to go. The door was open but the guy at the register was rudely and obnoxiously gestured no.

    Michael · December 8, 2014
  • Sarah

Rude service. Waiters kept making gestures with their mouths toward me. Ordered the chicken fajita wrap. Chicken was hot and hard, vegetables were cold not cooked.

    Sarah · September 28, 2014

Reliable diner food; usually not crowded. Service is sometimes disinterested.

    John Paterakis · September 2, 2014

Convenient and warm staff but you can do better when it comes to diners in the area. Murray hill diner to the north, big daddy's south

Dip into your savings and throw $12 at a bagel with lox.

I've been coming to this diner since 2005. Lots of food, decent service - but it's a diner. If you want fancy, organic, hipster brunch, go to the West Village. Omelettes and sausage are awesome!

Coffee is terrible. Like, extraordinarily so.

Despite the appearance and location of the place..the food is ACTUALLY pretty decent! Stick with the eggs Benedict.
