Sunset Beach is owned by the Standard but definitely takes the worst aspects of their other hotels more than anything else... overpriced cocktails, unbearable clientele, crummy beachfront.
Love breakfast here ! The "UnHampton" our favorite spot for breakfast ! Parking easy in the morning - leisurely - relax and enjoy !!
Expensive, poor service - really not the same as blue marlin / St tropez! If you want to eat a decent meal pop down the road to the Pridwin, a more relaxed crowd but better seafood! Bar is good.
Watch the sunset while drinking their signature Gimme Shelter cocktail and dining on fresh seafood. Later in the evening it becomes a party.
Get a table on the top balcony - it's cooler, quieter, and the view is amazing. Head downstairs and on Sunday afternoons the vibe will make you feel like you're in Europe. Sunset beach rosé is lovely
We got a big plate of raw vegetables. It made no sense. And it cost 26 dollars. Also not a big fan of the pretentiois half french/half american menu. Very premium prices for not so premium food.
Beautiful setting with beautiful people.
Good view. Average food.
It's pretentious, overpriced, and sceney. But isn't that why you head out east? It made for a nice getaway, grab an expensive snack and enjoy the beach/view.
DJSACKMANN.COM BOUGHT ME 4 BOTTLES OF ROSÉ!!!
It can get so euro trashy and gross here but there really is no competition for nightlife in shelter island at all.
Don't come here after it gets dark. The hefty prices are only worth it combined with the water views, daytime of course. Good food overall.
Scene and be seen
Skip the watermelon salad. Yes to the cold-pressed watermelon cocktail.
Cars here are crazy
Terrible service, really disappointed.
My favorite spot on Long Island. Cannot beat the atmosphere, or the food. Go early for a cocktail & enjoy the incredible sunset on the beach. Must try the mussels, grilled octopus, and veal Milanese.
Take the seaplane to come over here from NYC ! All the food is really great, the service is great too. Rooms are cute ! There is nothing else to do on the island for the record... The beach is nice
28$ a glass for sparkling rose. They didn't mention a thing. Fuck. That.
A very boring weekend. By that I mean there is this giant machine boring a tunnel to the other side of the bay where the sun sets. Very interesting to watch.
Baileys coup...expresso beans, baileys and cappuccino ice cream....just get it
Great Bar/Lounge and excellent restaurant. Reservations for Lunch& Dinner a must. Try to sit on the upper deck to enjoy the view!
The best nightlife spot in the Hamptons if you don't mind a ferry ride and a short drive. Great atmosphere, and a classy crowd all around.
This place is douche central
Lobster summer rolls are good
The rose sangria is delicious--not too sweet, and brimming with peaches.
Keep your wife away from the boys.
Great sunset forget about the attitude we are all cool!
Beautiful women and scenery. You'll need a neck brace after enjoying a day/night here.
Get a mojito and watch the mega yachts anchor.
NY(Fly!): Welcome to our sister property! Remember The Standard hotel's seaplane, StndAIR takes off right here! We hope to see you get on board soon!
dont park on the streer with out a permit or you'll get a fine
The lobster summer rolls are light, fresh and delicious.. :)
Waterfront French bistro and bar. Mojitos at sunset! Great people watching and a NY Strip Steak au poire to die for! Plus 20 rooms, each with private sundeck. All the sundrenched sports you, the child
Sit in the cafe the view is great and less crowded than a roof top area
watch out for the trash. it's all over....
Overpriced drug den
