Really disliked everything I ate here.
Great cocktails and service!

Mandoo Dumplings and Albacore Sashimi
Barbecue Jackfruit Bao is VEGAN and bomb dot com. So flavorful you'd swear it's pork in it

Try the Kaya Toast - Toasted bread spread thick with coconut jam served with a soft fried egg drizzled in dark soy and white pepper
Just save your $$ and either leave or get something small and a beer. Enjoy.
Here's my tip...uhhhhhMazing!!!!
Shave kale and brussels sprouts was the shit! Damn that was a good meal!
Nice atmosphere - not too loud; friendly staff. I love the concept but I wasn't super impressed with the food. The Moroccan lamb was definitely the highlight of the meal.
The Kaya Toast is a MUST. Two people can easily share between 4-6 dishes.
fattoush salad is the deal deal. arabs-she's done it justice. susan came over to our table several times to tell us what's good and to chat. very good experience.
Show up without making a reservation. It's the cool thing to do.
Ukrainian dumplings are delicious:)
I love the Filipino sweet sticky rice (aka suman). It's a dressed up version of my favorite childhood dessert.
Great brunch spot if you like horrible service and nightmare-worthy memories. Fuck you, Susan.
One of the newest "quiet" winners. Great brioche bun and homemade pickles!
Btw. There was much more that didn't fit into the character limit.
Geologically slow service, dry croquettes, forgotten drinks, semolina puffs with the texture of dunnage, rose without a hint of pink and to top it all off, a bitchy waiter. Pack your knives and go.
Excellent korean short ribs, chic n waffles, artichoke w olive tepanade. Drinks could have between stronger
I suggest ordering the burger medium rare, the medium was too dull a pink and not quite juicy enough. Fries are outstanding and not too spicy.
The chicken and waffles are a MUST!!!!!
Worth trying the DineLA special- food is non stop and GREAT for vegetarians.
Warm blankets are provided for patio diners... Along with heat lamps!
Chances are you'll meet Chef Susan Feniger. She likes to check on her diners!
Try the BLT Bloody Mary--delicious!
KAYA TOAST ALWAYS. Also they do an impressive job at the drinks menu--don't overlook it.
Laundry Day Fritters are a MUST!!
This was the most amazing place.
Long beans are rough, stringy, and...long, even here.
The smashed potatoes are amazing.
Kaya toast is surprisingly good. Like the calamari too.
My new favorite restaurant in LA! We loved the kaya toast, shrimp stuffed shittake mushrooms, sashimi, and the blackened kale. Finish with a glass or port.
