The chirashi here is the best. Order the special; it's worth it!

Interesting vibe. Middle aged Japanese sushi chef in Oakley shades serving killer omakase to an 70s/80s R&b back beat (gap band was a favorite.). Worth a try.
Amazing chirashi lunch for only $14.50! Gotta try it!
Fantastic reasonably priced fresh fish here for lunch special around 12$! At dinner it's a bit more, but worth every penny! Try the chefs choice Omakase
Great sushi place! Authentic and good quality! Welcoming staff and excellent service. Definitely coming back. Only downside is that there's a $25 credit card minimum.
Reservation is essential for parties over 2 since the place is so tiny. That being said, the sushi platter is HUGE and delicious!
Decent but WAY overpriced. Paid $31 for what I'd normally pay $21 for at a place of similar quality.
My fav neighborhood hole in the wall! You know a spot is amazing when you walk in and it's nothing but old Japanese businessmen. Oh and they play the most awesome oldschool R&B! - a CA sushi snob
This raw fish is greeeat !! Real Japanese sushi ! Thumbs up !
Have the omekase. The sashimi was superb. Fresh and brilliantly presented
Get the spicy white tuna!
The fish is so fresh it melts in your mouth. Not fancy decor, but great food. I was seated in between two tables of groups--both Japanese--so I think that speaks to the quality and authenticity too!
Went on a Sunday night and was closed :(
Great fish, but I don't understand the music they play here. Madonna and disco don't make for a relaxing dinner. Put on some jazz!
A hidden gem! Easy to miss, walk down the stairs. Sashimi is so fresh and as the place is so small and cosy the service is great. Go the tuna - you won't be disappointed.
Such fresh delicious sushi here! I feel like its a hidden gem so don't tell too many people.
amazing fresh sushi. tell the sushi chef how much you want to spend sit back and enjoy piece after piece of fresh sushi, sashimi, etc.
Great fresh fish. I am the only gaijin on a Thursday evening. Sure sign of a winner. All Japanese expats or business people
