It you've got the time, trust, and cash, go 'omakase' and leave your meal in the hands of the chefs. We did, and there wasn't one dish the group didn't love. The experience was incredible.

Salmon ceviche is mouth watering and refreshing to the palate. Though it might leave you wondering where the salmon is amongst the tomato and onions. Still a great choice!

Best sushi in Chicago hands down. Asian calamari appetizer is exceptionally good too. The atmosphere is trendy yet sophisticated. A must try if you love and appreciate high quality/innovative sushi.

We’ve yet to meet a food that wouldn’t benefit from being coated in feather-light tempura batter and fried to an airy crisp. That goes for vegetables, too—now your kids will ask for more. Read more

Not only is the plush rooftop patio with a 40-foot bar, sharp sound system, sofas and stools perfect for a nightcap (or night-starter), it’s great for sashimi as well. Read more

Now that they have a small plates part of the menu it's much easier to try things and share. Neo Tokyo and Kobe beef rolls are my favorites.

Sushi isn't great - go to a real Japanese place for that. The other cooked food is great though - nice sauces and spices.

Don't order the chicken teriyaki (as I did off the Restaurant Week menu), it is drier than dry! Also, the restrooms are the weirdest I've been in.

Apps/tapas/anticuchos plates are better than the limited sushi menu. The "fusion" isn't as evident in the taste of the sushi. The sushi is good, but you can get better/more creative for less elsewhere

Interesting "fusion". A little over the top. Tacky decor. Overbearing waiters who talk your ear off. Massive menu for mediocre food. Unbalanced cocktails. Oh and uncomfortable chairs.

We were disappointed, since we were told most plates were meant to share in the center of the table. In reality, plates are really small, but they charge you for them as if they were American portions
