You've got to try the delicious sushi! The place had a very cool and relaxing atmosphere. - Sammi (Sweetheart), Jersey Shore
Check out this romantic place with bangin sushi - I love it! Took Emilio there. - Snooki, Jersey Shore
“The best sushi on the island in one of the sexiest atmospheres around. You’ll always feel like Carrie Bradshaw when you eat here. You MUST try the Samba 7 Roll! YUM!” – Jonathan, Setup Squad
Sex and the City happened here. "Dirty martini? dirty bastard." Samantha splashed a drink in Richard's face at this Sushi place.
Nice casual spot for sushi and cocktails in the West Village with a fairly lou atmosphere. Come during happy hour weekdays 4-7pm
I practically live here. Food , service and ambiance are perfect.
El toro roll is ridonkulous
This place has a really cool vibe. In the summer, Friday nights are the best times to go. This is also a great date and gathering spot. The sushi is cool and the drinks are good too.
Samba 7 Roll and Mayan Rolls are a must!
Trendy fusion sushi with a lively crowd. Desserts offer some pleasant surprises.
Say hello to my boy carlos behind the bar. He makes the best drinks in town
Get the Shochucumber and the Samba 7 roll with the tempura Lobster Claw!!!
Their extensive menu caters to both fish and meat lovers. Don't be afraid to ask the server to put together a tasting menu tailored to your preferences!
Pricey, but worth every penny!
Best Tuna Tataki I have ever had. Hearty app, tasty and filling for the price.
Try a Sambatini.
One of the best sushi places in Manhattan. Try the tempura rolles, delicious!
The tacos are excellent. So tasty.
Kinda pricy! Small portions but to be honest Tastes REALLY GOOD!!!( if u order Bass-it's Amazing, but really small :/
Omg the cucumber martini #todiefor
Ask your server to design a personalized tasting menu for you. A great way to try some of the best items on the menu!
Try the pork belly with butterscotch miso!!! BUTTERSCOTCH WATERFALLS!!!
If you want, you can just give your servers a price point and they will put a menu together for you. They did a good job for us, anyways.
The Spicy Sushi rolls are pretty amazing. If you're having them as dinner, I'd get 2 orders, the portions are small.
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in town. My favs: DRINK - Blackberry Mojito; SIDE - Peruvian Corn; ENTREE - Miso-glazed Chilean Sea Bass; SUSHI - El Topo, Pacific, Samba7
Restaurant week menu is very poor. Corn in a sushi? The only successful item was parfait. The name raises expectations but sushi menu is very limited. Unconcerned waitresses, overrated, overpriced.
Overrated, overpriced - not for those who are s e r i o u s about their sushi. Also, the bathrooms are weird.
One of the best Chilean Seabass I've had in the city.
SushiSamba 787 7th Ave. S (at Barrow St.), New York, NY 10014Sushi Restaurant, Japanese Restaurant, Asian Restaurant
Very unusual Japanese-Brazilian fusion, little pricey but worth every penny. Definitely try Samba 7 roll. The ambiance inside is very unique. Service was quiet good.
Try the Yamato Roll. It's controversial but you won't regret it!
The sushi here is orgasmic. My favorite is the Bobo Brazil roll made with Kobe beef. Melts in your mouth.
The Neo Tokyo roll is the bomb!
SushiSamba 7Check out this romantic place with bangin sushi - I love it! Took Emilio there. - Snooki
The sushi here is just ok. Not traditional, very american and overpriced. I only wind up here if my defaults are not an option, or I have a specific craving for their style of sushi. Good drinks tho!
Kanpachi w/ Truffle oil is a must!
Such amazing cocktails it's hard to decide, but try a bubbletail or Chu-cumber. Friday nights have a DJ and I'd recommend a reservation after 9PM for the best crowd.
Try the Tropicalia!!! YUMMY!!!
This place is more fun if you bring the super cube. RECOGNIZE.
While lacking the hot atmosphere of the South Beach location, the food is reliably good. Prepare to wait at peak hours.
The seabass. Get the seabass. On skewers. Green bean tempura ain't bad either!
You should drink Samba Juice...Very exotic and cozy...Loved the place, very elegant and fancy >^.^<
The sea bass skewer things are to die for. And we love ourselves some George and his guidance on the tasting menu.
The sliders! The yellowfin taquitos!!!(WARNING: they are tiny) The rainbow dragon roll!
Readers' Poll winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Antique Sushi!
Don't go in all cartywampous
The Samba 7 roll is delicious!!! Great service.
Great sushi and atmosphere. But be prepared to wait at least 25 minutes even with a reservation.
Combinado de sushi e sashimi vale muito a pena, peixes escolhidos pelo chefe e uma delicia!
