People tend to check in during these times:
Love this place. Ride the free (for now) street car here to check it out and grab some lunch. You cannot go wrong with your options.
Great place to take friends or a date for a foodie experience. Lots to eat. I always buy popcorn here! Try the "triple" (cheese, caramel, butter). It's the best!! Would love to try more vendors.
Eat at Killer Grind house Burgers. Great burgers with a "Bang".
Competition for parking is stiff but most eateries validate.
They have a farmers market as well as meat/seafood. Not a lot of exotic options (guava. Star fruit, etc) but they do have alligator, rabbit, frog legs, and conch
So much to choose from. Bell Street Burritos, Yum Diggity, Rawesome Juicery, Grindhouse Burgers, Sweet Auburn BBQ and Arepa Mia are all incredibly delicious. Visit all of them.
Falafel from Metro Deli & Soul Food is great! And so are the burgers from Grindhouse
Onion rings from yumdiggity are awesome!
Be advised that parking is only free for the first hour IF you get a validation after spending a minimum of $5. Saw lots of salted meats out in the open with flies buzzing around...
Lot of good eateries here - Venezuelan (Arepa Mia), a creperie, raw juice bar, burgers & more. I also rec Country Produce for fruits & veggies.
Don't bother. Just go to the Dekalb Farmers Market and save yourself a parking headache. (And also get way better stuff.)
Everything. Love this place.
Love Atlantic Seafood. Very fresh and half the price of Whole Foods!
No cucumbers here
It is a great in town farmers market, but I still prefer the Beauford HWY and Dekalb farmers market more.
Check out Scoutmob for deals. Get the rawesome remix salad at Rawesome Juicery. It's amazeballs.
Make sure you get your receipt stamped for parking! Great selection of veggies & meat
Get the memphis texas melt at Sweet Auburn BBQ
Get the chicken sausage jambalaya. It's awesome!
Love the food and diversity here...
Vegan Popsicles from Pop life & arepas from Arepa Mia!!!! Your welcome!
AfroDish is the bomb dot com
Great little market that provides affordable produce and lunch options for the businesses and GSU students in the area.
Arepa Mia is really good :-)
Only the 1st 30 minutes are free to park, with validation. After that, $3+.
Bring your parking ticket inside and you can get it validated by one of the vendors with any purchase for one hour of free parking. Otherwise, it's $3.00 for 0 to 30 minutes and up from there!
Be sure to check out our fellow Atlanta NOSH vendor "Arepa Mia" on fridays from noon - 2 pm ... Delicious and an Atlanta favorite dish! Tell them Sweet Tea Factory sent ya!
If you like hot dogs give Yum Diggity a try!
The "Sweet Auburn" district's first settlement was on land formerly occupied by Union troops and was called "Shermantown" for many years.
*Afro Dish :) African & Caribbean Cuisine
Get a behind-the-scenes look at Atlanta's only publicly owned market with Atlanta Culinary Tours. You'll get to chat with vendors, taste great local foods, and learn about the history of Sweet Auburn.
The Afrodish is AMAZING!!! Get the OxTails
Great options for veggies and fruit...Grindhouse burger...cowboy style FTW....not sure about complaints..it's a farmers mrkt...not a Whole Food.
AfroDish has great Caribbean/African food. Their black eyeds have me hooked. They're spicy though. But good!
Do yourself a favor and eat at Grind House Burgers while you shop. Also auburn market is a great place to get good quality meats and vegetables. Hidden gem of downtown.
