    The fried chicken is amazing with a touch of honey glaze on top. If you sit at the bar, you don't have to pay the $5 entertainment fee.

    Try the chicken, salad with house dressing, and fried green tomatoes! The fried green tomato BLT was phenomenal. We had lunch, so I'm not sure about dinner, but highly recommend it.

    Table of 6 with 6 different orders. Everything was delicious- I had the étouffée and it was a great portion and tasted fabulous. And the music made the atmosphere even better.

    The love music was wonderful! The lady who sings with the band jammed all night. The pulled pork is good but the fried chicken and Mac and cheese is to die for!

    Great drinks and food, and the band was AWESOME! If you're looking for something to nibble with your cocktail, I strongly recommend the fried crawfish. They're delicious.

    Try the Sneaky Sneaky! Firefly whiskey + lemonade, it's the best! This place has a great old school atmosphere - it's a must if you're staying downtown!

    Late nite menu is only shrimp po boys & bbq sliders w/ fries..keep that n mind..drinks are good to go, music on point, I feel like im in Savannah, Coast of the Sippi, or Nawlins!

    Get ready for.l a wait on the weekends but once you're in you are home. Lovely staff, fast pretty decent food and excellent warm ambiance.

    Grilled porkchop and mashed potatoes are delish. Salmon is great too.. Make sure you realize there is a $5 fee per person during live music

    This place gave African Americans a chance to speak their mind. It has a deep history of music, food, drink and entertainment in the south.

    If you want to get tipsy, get the Harpo Punch :-). The best meal for its value is the fried chicken. I was stuffed!

    Make sure you make a reservation at least 2 days in advance. Great music, fried chicken and Peach Cobbler

    Got our full of grits, fried green tomatoes, and catfish. Peach martini reminded us that we weren't in New England anymore. Insist on reservations, even if they tell you they're not busy!

    The peach cobbler is really good. However, the lunch time hostess and serving staff were very unfriendly. It was as if we were bothering them by coming into the restaurant!

    I didn't get food, but all of it looked good, loved the live music, but didn't like how they automatically charge each person a 5$ entertainment fee, I will go again on a weekday

    50 minutes to get crab cakes?! Are you serious? Music too loud and seriously lacking professionalism today. This is one of my spots but they must get more consistent!
