Best place to relax after a couple of days exploring Budapest. Inside and outside pools and saunas ready for you to relax. Rent a cabin to be more comfortable and bring a towel to avoid the queues.

Get the private cabins for the complete luxe experience. Try the 40° and then 20° baths inside to relax your muscles after a long day of sightseeing. And bring a swimming cap for the outdoor lap pool.

For me the best thermal baths in the city.Take with you:swimsuit, towels, slippers, shampoo&a hair dryer! Its better to hire a cabin&not a locker! The temperature of waters is 28°C.A magic experience!

There are 18 pools altogether. When its cold or it rains in Budapest , this is where people come to soak off the blues. Inside are many sauna options. Make sure u try them all ! Real fun !

We love this bath for its vast outdoor space. The thermal pools in the winter are a delight. The changing cabins aren't as nice as the Gellert, but they are ok. We came 3 times on our last trip.

Relaxing in 36°C thermal pool, when below zero outside - niiiiiiice ;) Try to catch the sunset and don't forget your swimming cap if you wanna swim in 28°C swimming pool (also outside).

This is a place you must visit. With 3 large outdoor pools that are heated in winter, countless saunas and indoor pools it is the perfect form of relaxation. Recommendations: 38 degree pool.

Unique experience you have to do in Budapest. Outdoor baths were less crowded and cleaner. Recommend getting a cabin to lock up valuables- you need to get a staff member to open and close it.

Bring your own towels and slippers if you can. You can use one cabin (kabinok) for several people to save 500 Ft each. Inside bar only takes cash, restaurant accepts cards.

I took the full package (99€) and was a king there, I had unlimited fruits and juices, free massage. Swimming in the heated outside pools with rain showers on top of u is an amazing experience.

The place is huge and has a lot of pools with temperatures ranging from 18 to 38oC. The best pool is outside where you can enjoy your thermal spa in 38oC. Dont forget to bring a towel

A few tips: Bring flip-flops. Enjoy in the summer and winter. You can drink the water (not from the pools, obviously) The indoor pools smell like sulfur. The saunas are cool. Best cure for hangovers.

The biggest thermal bath complex in Budapest. Stunning architecture + hot thermal waters even in outdoor pools so you can swim outside while snow is falling! Also has Sat night pool parties.

Very good place to relax. Its huge! Do not forget flip flops and towel. Inconvenient, maybe,to cross by the swimming pool at open air.. in winter it's freezing!! A must before leaving Budapest

Beautiful architecture and nice warm pools. As a Finn I would've enjoyed a bit more higher temperatures in the saunas but all in all a good experience and would recommend to others.

Forget the other baths in Budapest - these are the best & most beautiful. Be sure to lock up any valuables & towels in lockers or they WILL be stolen!

Great experience! The whole place is pretty. Good for swimming in laps (swimming cap req) or taking hot baths. Aquaerobics lessons and saunas too! Bring own towel and soap

What an amazing experience! A Budapest must do! I would recommend using an outside locker tho, someone stole my towel in about 20mins & I couldn't relax after that. Was charged 3000huf to hire one.

All Hungarian baths kind of expect you to know the routines even if it's obvious that it's your first time. Changing and massage areas are like a prison hall, outside pools are worth the visit though

Saunas, hammams, thermal baths : all are very relaxing in this Budapest place ! Don't forget to bring sandals. Personnal cabs are available for couple or there are changing rooms downstairs.
  • Ann Y.
Absolutely amazing bath! Even in cold weather you can enjoy swimming open air in this hot water! Its very relaxing. You can easily spend a few hours there, trying different pools and chilling in sauna

Be careful - towels can disappear pretty easily. Rather bring your own, otherwise you have to pay a high deposit fee. An amazing neo-baroque style bath, which is one of the biggest baths in Europe.

Massive indoor / outdoor spa. Locker area could stand to be a bit cleaner, but the rest is great. Bring your own shampoo & soap (not provided), towel & flip flops (available for a fee otherwise).

It's a fun place. More like an aquatic park than a spa really but it's worth to visit. If you come with your partner or a friend, booking just one cabin is probably enough.

The spa was extremely crowded. Expect to wait in queue for a long time. The cabins were clean and safe. The baths too crowded to really enjoy it. Better look for a less touristy bath.

Outside thermal pools are sensational, I subscribed to the premium package, and lived like a king, free massage, fruits and juices, inside jacuzzis.. Must visit 💆

Take a towel and flipflops with you and go early in the day when there are still few people. Enjoy and relax in their thermal baths and bath in the sun afterwards. Metro closeby!

Worth paying the small surcharge for a private changing cabin (read: cupboard). Ignore anyone approaching you in the foyer to upsell a package - standard tickets from the ticket booth are fine.

Beautiful place. 2 termal baths and 1 swimming pool-28°C - but! its not allowed to swim there withouth bathing cap!! Cheers Jenda a Macinka Jelimanovi :-) Ja tak rád trsám trsám...

Yes, the bath is not as clean as others in Europe. Yes, the sulfur smells. But does this make a visit to the bath any less amazing? No!

You need to come here. Spend hours alternating between freezing ice water, hot baths, and saunas. You'll feel like you ran a spa marathon at the end.

Everything is perfect except those : Please clean the floor and wall of the pool. Water is cold when it is compared the any thermal. Finally you should change the saleswoman in the small shop.

Excellent opportunities for relaxing, whatever the weather! Try having a dip in the 40°C pool and then jumping in the 20°C pool without swearing.

A massage is well worth the price. Some of the complaints about customer service here are valid, though. Do not try to return a rented towel to any other station but the one you obtained it from.

Get organized! Pre book your entry & massage (booked out always on the day) with viator.com and avoid the massive queues. Also bring your own towel (borrow from the hotel) to avoid queues.

This is so amazing. You don't just go for a swim here. You go for a swim with a view! You need a swim cap for the large pool by the way. Don't forget!

Great relaxing point. Liked all pools. Just renting of towels should be included on ticket. And try fish foot massage.

Most well known and popular with tourists and it is great but don't miss out on the other baths such as rudas and lukács

You can feel your muscles relaxing in the thermal baths. Very therapeutic, but I'd recommend bringing flip flips for walking around.

Definitely get a cabin. One for every two people is ideal. Easy to change clothes and come in and out of the cabin.

Bring your own towel!! The rental system is inefficient and waiting in line to get a towel will really test your patience! I can't stress this enough!!!

Cubicles are useful for couples. Big enough for one to get changed in at a time and secure as staff are always walking nearby

A must do, especially the outdoor at night during winter. You'll be sliding on ice on the pavement while running to the hot steamy bath. Then thru the myst !
