Spicy cumin lamb, and double cooked pork belly, and the spicy cellophane noodles, and the dan Dan noodles and everything on the goddamn menu
Scallion pancakes and pork dumplings are very tasty. Service is mediocre.
Very good food, I order lunch from here all the time, good service, twice cooked pork is the best.
very nice place! Food is great. Almost all waiters are friendly!
Get the Mapo Tofu...
Dan Dan noodles will make your mouth feel tingly and numb IN A GOOD WAY
One of the best Sichuan restaurants in the city. Cold sesame noodles, Dan Dan noodles, cumin lamb, wok tossed chicken and chiles, double cooked pork... All excellent.
2 legit 2 quit ordering their Mapo tofu (best I've had outside China), Dan Dan Noodles & crispy Lamb. If you like Szechuan peppercorns, you're in for a treat.
Decent Szechuan food to be had here, but prices are not competitive with the dirty cheap grub you can get in Chinatown.
The mapo tofu here is delicious. Spicy and flavorful without a lingering heat.
The service leaves something to be desired, but the food is delicious.
The mapo tofu is very authentic, similar to what I had when I visited Sichuan province in China.
Well above par Chinese in midtown Manhattan!
anything spicy. great noodles
The chili sauce that came on my pork dumplings was amazing. Best Chinese food (chicken and broccoli specifically) I've ever had, and I've tried that EVERYWHERE.
Their choices are awesome. I will definitely comeback to try some meat dishes.
Ask for (and I probably spelled it wrong but sound it out) La tsu tzee - it's a spicy chicken dish not on the menu and it's phenomenal.
Dumplings. Sautéed bean sprouts, yum
AMAZING gyoza. Lot's of veggie options with tofu!
Amazing meals but be careful, some are unbelievably hot.
A simple place, not fancy nor sophisticated but the food is good and this is what matters.
The food is average. Food is super oily! I would rather eat Thai.
Strange place - not at all fancy (to be kind), not particularly warm or attentive service, but good food.
All the vegetarian dishes are great.
Spicy Hot & Sour Cellophane Noodles: $6.95
Great food, fast service.
Authentic Szechuan experience mid town
Cumin lamb is super dry, go for the chicken egg plant, spicy sesame noodle and pork dumplings
Awesome Chinese. I've seen this place included in lots of lists of underappreciated NYC restaurants. Never fails to be great.
Braised lamb but ask for extra spicy sauce on the side! Bring the heat.
Very good lunch menu, many many options, inexpensive but great taste
Great spicy food in midtown Manhattan. The dish came super fast
Eater calls it "Midtown's worst-kept Chinese food secret."
Beef chow fun, cumin lamb, eggplant
Still a hit or miss place but can be pretty good. Saw that they had steamed juicy pork buns. Was a little iffy about ordering them from a szechuan place... they came out frozen on the inside.
Amazing dishes the general tso chicken was amazing. The soups perfect . Fast service but old decoration. The porsions very big watch out to over eating. Was the best in my NY chinese foods
Usually easiest to get a table at lunch between 11:30 & 12. If you're solo, they might stick you close to other people. Works for me!
You need your real Szechuan food cherry popped here.
I cannot say enough good things about the Cumin lamb. I have had dreams about it. I have cravings for it. Completely unique.
Best Szechuan take out
Spicy cold noodles (the best I've had in the city) + one entree was enough for 2 hungry people! There was still food leftover. Pretty awesome for a place on this part of Midtown.
Double cooked pork belly with leeks annotate denied.
Dan Dan Noodles are A+. Chili Cumin Lamb is top-notch. I found the Double-Cooked Pork Belly to be boring, but I would vote the Spicy Garlic Baby Eggplant for President. 👌
