Terminal 1 was opened on 3 May 1970, replacing the old Overseas Passenger Terminal (which was located where Terminal 3 stands now) and has been greatly expanded since then. Today it is known as the International Terminal, located in the airport's north western sector.

There is an infestation of drop-bears in terminal 1. Keep an eye out and avoid all overhangs especially signs hanging from the roof.

Must visit: The Hyde Park, Australia's oldest park. It is home to around 580 exotic & native trees. Lots of cultural events take place here, including the Sydney festival, Australia Day and many more!
Do you have an ePassport? Chances are if it was issued after 2005 you do. Zoom through the equeue if so, you just don't get another stamp..

If your baggage is overweight, youcan always use AustPost to ship stuff overseas! It is near Aisle K right in the far corner. Would be cheaper than paying for it via the airline
