T1 International Terminal (SYD)

Airport Terminal
Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport (SYD) (Airport Dr.), Mascot NSW 2020, Australia

Terminal 1 was opened on 3 May 1970, replacing the old Overseas Passenger Terminal (which was located where Terminal 3 stands now) and has been greatly expanded since then. Today it is known as the International Terminal, located in the airport's north western sector.

While MNL may be the worst int airport in Asia...SYD is the most boring. No free wifi means a tedious wait. DuFree xpensive. Bring a book and food!

Typical ignorance of Sydney Airport - Signs showing where each airline is located on the departure level driveway have been removed which does not help at all! More traffic chaos than before!

Followed the "Pick Up Drop Off" sign and ended up in Level 8 of roof top parking building after 10 min. Very poor signage and no other options 'out' and you are only allowed 15 min of free parking.

If your baggage is overweight, youcan always use AustPost to ship stuff overseas! It is near Aisle K right in the far corner. Would be cheaper than paying for it via the airline

Avoid buying food or beverages once you go through customs - they charge like wounded bulls and for poor quality. Either grab a bite before you go through customs or better before you leave home.
