Taïm is the love child of husband and wife team, Chef Einat Admony and Stefan Nafziger. In 2005, homesick for the favorite street food of Tel Aviv, they heard of a tiny store front available on quiet Waverly place and decided to open their own falafel shop...
This has been the best falafel I've tasted. It was a combination of super fresh falafel and a complex tasting salad
Take it from an Israeli. Best falafel in the city. From the bread, to the construction, to the different flavored of perfectly cooked falafel. Perfection. Better than most places in Israel
can't decide which of the three falafel options you'd like best? order the sampler and get two of each!
The saffron aioli is truly delicious and worth the visit if you feel like some fries.
Amazing filling falafel sandwiches for only $7.50. Definitely one of the best deals in town.
Get the falafel sampler with hummus! $6 for a huge meal!
I don't even know all the flavors & sauces that came with the mixed falafel platter, but they were all good.
Falafel smoothie with dates
Best falafel in NYC.
Choose from three kinds of falafels.
Favorite falafel in NYC and beyond. Mediterranean platter with harissa is my go-to, and the smoothies are also fantastic. Try the coconut for something light and refreshing.
Mixed falafel platter for sure
can't wait to go! thank you for your reviews! :)
The Harissa falafel platter is my favorite! It comes with 7 falafel a, two refreshing salads, hummus and seasoned pita. Great smoothies as well.
The Sabich is the move over the falafel - I do wish the schug were spicier
Try the mixed falafel platter--you get a lot of food for not too much money and you get to try all three flavors
Falafel (ask for it "with everything" and grab an extra napkin)
Best falafel in NYC. The eggplant salad is really good too.
Mixed falafel is unreal
Proper lebanese falafel!! With the medium spiciness sauce! Helpful staff if you forget that the cashier was talking so fast and she did not know the menu.
The falafel sandwiches are delicious. You could easily walk past this place (it's tiny and on a quiet street), but don't miss it!
Get their lemonade & their falafel sandwich for a delicious, healthy & filling lunch!

Great, great falafel - I had the Harissa and would recommend.
Lives up to the hype of best falafel sandwich in the city
Moved in round the corner and know this will be my go-to place for fresh delicious takeout. Too easy.
The green falafel is good but I prefer Mamoun's, which is cheaper too
The mini-platter of green falafel is definitely enough for a yummy (but not to heavy) lunch. Four falafels in total, plus Israeli salad. Ask for extra hot sauce. Passover matzah is clutch.
No secret that they serve some of the best falafel in the city. The pita is perfect too. Get the sampler plate.
Best falafel in NYC
FA LA LA $6 falafel sandwich. Best I've ever had.
Authentic and perfect. The best falafel/veg. middle eastern food period
There was a good food for lunch or dinner. And also food tastes so good. Desert food is very traditional food in Turkey. I am definitely going to visit there again.
While I love the falafel here the sabich sandwiches are truly sublime. Num, num, num.
Tiny place, great for takeout. Falafel is key.
really amazing falafel! super fresh ingredients
Falafel platter is great if you want to try a sample, by the sandwiches are the best bang for your buck
I order the mixed falafel platter and it was so good and very filling. I meant to take a photo but I couldn't wait to dig in! Only downside is the place is super tiny so taking it to go is likely.
Love the smoothies. Awesome falafel with generous toppings. Get hot sauce on the side it's verry spicy.
Don't mess around - get the mixed falafel platter. Smoothies are ok
Consistently good meals. Great for take-away after work.
