Weekend rooftop brunch on a budget. Get some.
Happy hour until 11 is quite unconventional. Make sure you stop by when Rob, DJ Blaze is in the building.
A bit overpriced and less than stellar service. But the food was good.
Pomegranate mimosa yummy
Nice rooftop brunch!!!
I came here for Sunday brunch Inauguration weekend. I was way disappointed that they weren't honoring Open Table reservations. But I enjoyed my $3 breakfast cocktail, seafood omelette & the view!
Cant really put into words but my meal and drinks were comped without me having to ask. I did tip the bartender...
On Thursday Nights, they have free comedy shows by #HomegrownHilarity! Great group of comics! You can come in and have a drink. They usually support great causes with the bar proceeds!
It's a small place, but the food was great. I had the chicken and waffles, probably the best chicken I've ever had.
Pretty inattentive bartenders...
I've always had a delicious meal here. Highly recommend the poached egg with crab and spinach and pork sausage (for brunch). Their baklava is the best baklava I've had.
Try the seafood risotto!
The Rooftop has a retractable roof - nice views of the U ST Cooridoor neighborhood & good service makes it a perfect spot for a group of friends to get together to celebrate over dinner and drinks.
There is valet parking.
No decent parking close by and no valet parking.. I repeat NO VALET PARKING!
One of my favorite brunch spots! Flavored mimosas are great and I love the spinach & crabmeat egg benedict!
Few Sundays every month there is a Deep Secrets dance party on the roof after brunch that goes all night
$3 mimosas on Sunday Funday, you can't beat it!
If you order the calamari w/o jalapeños, you get *more* calamari!
This place is generally good, and a tad pricey (for a student) BUT! This Brunch is Everything!!! Great service! Great alcohol and the view?? To DIE for! AND their eggs taste real!
A fun place to hang out on Monday nights! The DJ Joey O is always playing the best music! And the Allie Wilson is alwyas the consummate and gracious host! Def check it out!
How do you serve someon a bagel with lox without mentioning that you're out of cream cheese? JAGELFAIL!
Happy Hour goes on all night at the Red Bar on the first level.
I only like the brunch here. I can totally do w/o everything else. The chicken & waffles is good.
their rooftop brunch is amazing and cheap!
awesome skyline views of the city
Nice rooftop, shit food!
their happy hour food is amazing (and for a great price)! esp the lamb skewers + hummus brushetta
This place had the slowest service ever. Not a lot of food for the price and the waiter just was not doing his job. This visit to Tabaq will likely be the last.
Rooftop brunch very nice atmosphere and friendly service. However, "real maple syrup" served w waffle/FT/pancake is of the corn syrup IHOP variety.
Chris makes the best dirty martinis no contest. Check him in the Red Room and say congratulations!
Try the specialty martinis, especially the whisky and scotch based ones.
Bloody Mary here was AWFUL.
Seafood risotto is to die for, so yummy!
Excellent venue with rooftop city views and good drinks.
This is a great place to hold a fundraiser for a nonprofit. We held a fundraiser here last week. The management & staff were very friendly and accommodating. There's room for dancing and live music
Try eggs Benedict and salmon for brunch. Yums.
Great eats, fantastic view and atmosphere. Order the big plates, or at least two small plates to be full.
Monday nights are absolutely amazing here. Live DJs, $3 drinks till 11pm, great people. The best Monday night party in DC.
Monday on the rooftop they have rotating DJs and 3 dollar drinks until 11pm!
Monday nights are amazing at Tabaq, live DJ, drink specials, great atmosphere. You gotta check it out!!
Monday nights are crazy fun. Come between 9 and 11pm drinks are $3. Fierceness.
Don't miss taking in the view from the covered roof deck. It's totally worth the climb up the four flights of stairs.
Amazing Sunday brunch! Pretty great view on the rooftop, as well.
Sunday brunch is great! Can't go wrong with steak and eggs on the rooftop!
I love my U Street neighborhood. So many cool places such as Tabaq. I went there last weekend to attend the Say Yes event sponsored by The Red Pump Project and Blogalicious. Had a fabulous time with g
