How hard can it be to get taco order correct and steak should not taste like fish yuck. Poor service.

Tacos are amazing, Salazar are my fav. try the fundito, smoked chicken is the bomb too. Wish the kitchen staff would not whistle loudly and off key while I am trying to enjoy my meal.

Pass on the rice and beans and go for the Elotes 🌽 (smothered & grilled corn on the cob) as a side.

Walk up window taco shop by day, sit down restaurant by night. Food is great, but service and speed are lacking during the dinner rush.

The Salazar is a guilty pleasure that must be experienced! Definitely a place to visit during the summer. During the winter, it's very cold in there, bring a blanket!

Cheesecake chimichangas. Old-fashioned beef tacos. Avoid the tostada.

Sitting outdoors should be required. Best for a casual afternoon or evening to eat and relax. Camarones (shrimp) taco is the best I've had. Service currently has some bumps.

We tried 3 times! They ran out of food the first time (!!), and the bartender was SO incredibly rude, we walked out before ordering the second time. Gave it one more shot. Wish we hadn't. Big bummer!

Al pastor is generally my favorite, theirs has the texture of 5 minutes in a Blendtec blender. Complete mush. Therir excuse..." well we do things a little bit different"

Was the first tasty Mexican style food we found while there. Only negative is does every Mexican restaurant in KC use a blender on their salsa? Lazy chef, lazy.

S'up with the two different corn tortillas in today's batch? The homemade tortillas were awesome, but they were mixed in with some chewy (undercooked/greasy) run of the mill distribution type.

The tacos we had were OK, but lacked salt. My biggest concern is the chairs inside which will tip over backward with ease. I almost went over twice. They aren't terribly comfortable either.

Very good atmosphere and delicious food. Just opened recently, so still working out all the kinks. Order more than two tacos, though. They're the smaller kind and go down quicker than you know it!
