Talkeetna is my favorite spot in Alaska and The Roadhouse is my top pick of places in Talkeetna. Love staying over in the winter, cozy rooms, love the fireplace and live music. Breakfasts are awesome!

Love the breakfasts, favorite in Alaska. Most fun to stay in the hotel during winter when it's cold and snowy and you can hang out by the fireplace and play board games. Love it.

Stayed there and ate there and I love the cosy and homie feeling to the place. Tried their sausage bun and quiche good.

Food is incredible and the portions are generous. The half plates are almost always enough for one person. However, the service can be slow, and the food isn't always hot when they bring it out.

By far the best homemade pies I've ever eaten. Everything was awesome, the pancakes and caribou sausage was the bomb

Try one of the biggest breakfasts Alaska has to offer; complete with larger-than-plate-sized sourdough hotcakes. As seen on Travel Channel’s Man v. Food Nation.

Service is slow. But they also get slammed by tourists. Won't let u order at counter oddly enough. If staying in hotel, they are very unorganized. Expect room preference to change without notice.

Etape obligée pour prendre un petit déjeuner à Talkeetna. Placement familial où on discute avec des voyageurs du monde entier. En +, c'est délicieux. Je recommande la spécialité : Sourdough Hotcakes
