World's cosiest airport.
If you are going to Tallinn, visit Klaus cafe, it is great, my favorite place in town. It is located near Fat Margaret tower near the sea in old port area, it is less then 5 minute walk from old town.
Only 5-6 km from the city centre taxi fares(10 Euro)& by local bus for about 1.5 euro(No 2)Free WiFi &Skype video booths. Thoughtful & Cozy, with sleeping pods. Best seatings. Has a Library.
Hmmm, never had a club sandwich served with an orange sauce before... And it's safe to pass on the "guacamole". But the bar area near gate 6 does have power sources that work, and some comfy couches.
It has all the commodities that you would expect from a medium-small airport. The terminal building was revamped a few years ago. The entrance wing should be reminiscent of an Estonian barn-dwelling.
Love it! Easy to orient, spacious, clean/fresh/decorated toilets, cozy atmosphere all around the airport, with lots of convenient places to wait for departure while snacking & using a plugged laptop!
The best thingis the free wifi. Seen many airports on my business travels and its almost impossible to find free wifi that actually works anyehere. TLL is kind enough to smokers too 😊
Make yourself a travel insurance, charge your laptop or cell phone, sit back and relax in massage chair. Kids playground right next to Gate, candyshop, cafe and Skype cabin just a few steps away.
Coffee in Kalev store is not bad + free chocolate ;) Free wi-fi! But prices in duty free are not reasonable...You can buy everything you need in city shops much cheaper
Airport is open 24 hours. I've arrived to the Tallinn Bus station at 3 o'clock (yeah, at night), and got here on foot, it seems to be safe. Airport is 2.5 km from the bus station.
Really good airport, very clean, though the air-conditioning isn't too strong. Hot in places. Security checks are super efficient & if you need a last minute souvenir, they have it all!
This is a really pleasant, well organised airport with a Nordic atmosphere. It feels kind of cosy at the gates, even at the gates of the low budget airlines.
Duty free shop warning: The first two small duty free shops charge significantly higher prices than the supermarket style duty free shop 20m down the corridor.
Tallinn Airport is one of the nicest small airports I know of. As an international speaker, I have seen lots. Actually always enjoy spending an hour there.
There is a shopping mall within about 10 minutes walk from the airport - if you have to wait quite a while for your flight consider visiting there :)
If you're after the hot dogs and souvenirs, make sure you buy them before you go through the doors at passport control - there's not really that much on the other side.
This small airport is so cute and classy. Even though it's really small, you can find here everything you need. And you actually can't get lost.
It's a not big airport. But there is free wifi and comfortable sofa. So you can connect worldwide and feel free!
Very small but cozy airport. I've spent 8 hours here waiting for my flight and didn't even feel it, because of these incredibly comfortable chairs of different shapes and sizes:)
This airport has good signage and friendly staff. Moreover, it's comfortable and nicely decorated! The best wifi I ever used before in an airport!
Don't let'em fool you and avoid using advertised €2 bus 90K. Take the local bus 2 instead, it'll bring you to the center for just €1 (50c discounted), buy the tickets in R-kiosk
Luggage lockers at the ground floor, €1/€2 for small/large locker (per 24h). Helpful for transit passengers wishing to take a walk in Tallinn.
For 1 euro you get 3 amazing minutes in a massage chair. Seriously, the best spend of time&money while you are waiting for the boarding
Its was so unexpected that airport is CLOSED till 4 a.m.!!! There is NO info in the internet about it and no way to enter the airport until they open the doors ....😤
Very friendly aiport. Best way to get to the city center is by Taxi. Costs around 5 Eur, which is not much more then the bus.
It's cozy and comfortable, and even a playground for kids is here. There are several bars/cafe, but the variety of meals is very limited
The coziest airport I've been to! It's my second time here and I'm glad I've chosen it again. Estonian Air - two thumbs up as well!
Very Comfortable airport. And very democratic prices in cafès. Especially comparing to prices in Moscow or St.Petersburg's airports.
On top of Lounge seats and free WiFi the Cappuccino is also really great at Gate 2. ;-)
Dont miss the library next to gate 1 and 2, not the greatest selection you will have seen but a nice touch indeed. Go TLL
Nice small airport, free wi-fi. Taxis only available when flights arrive, if you get delayed ask at helpdesk to call a taxi.
They are really annoying with "all liquids into one plastic bag". And they don't provide them like in other airports, they are sold per 1 eur.
My second home for the last months and well,I wish Every airport in Europe would be as cosy as Tallinn one!
They really take the safety and security to another level. The lady on the security check is very thorough *sarcasm*.
Beware, Estonian Air is annoyingly strict. Pay 80€ for overweight baggage, 15€ for hand baggage over 8kg if you say it's fragile.
Really small, but cozy and you get all you need including free wifi :) No long distances to walk.
Get any duty free BEFORE going through passport control .. It's pretty boring on the other side and there's no going back ..
Comfy airport with style. Free and fast wi-fi, nice food court.
It is not so big and very convenient, free WiFi is provided. Taxi to city centre is very cheap
Bus to City Centre No. 90K every 30 min. for 2,00€!! Roundcircle, close stops to all important places. And free Skype-Wifi at the Airport, of course :)
If you want some drink cheaish buy it close to the security check on the inside. All other places charge double
Great and comfortable small airport. They make waiting comfortable...
Even better after 2015 renovation! Feels very homely and small, and be sure to check out the toilets (for both genders if you can!)
If you want to go Tartu, you don't need to go Bus Station. Just buy ticket from the machine next to bus stop :)
Touch the statue of Linda before embarking on your journey- Linda will take care of travel anxiety, prevent any mishaps and make a contribution towards your trip's success
Nice, comfortable and cozy small airport. One of the first to offer free wifi.
Quite small and comfy airport plus free WiFi. Only thing I do not like is small and narrow bathrooms.
Rely on your EBG status to access the lounge free of charge even when flying with Estonian Air
Cosy and nice, with a wonderful home staff shop right after the duty free
The coziest international airport you'll ever travel to, replete with things to do, including even a book corner
Free Wi-fi+outlets, works perfectly, always enough space. Very comfortable indeed.
