Fantastic place to eat Thai food in Atlanta. About 13 minutes from downtown. Whatever GPS doesn't lead you to the restaurant spot exactly, but to a place in front if it. Duck Curry is off the hook!!

Everything is beautiful, from the fuchsia orchid on each plate to Tamarind’s gorgeous dining room, replete in rich chocolate color, lacquered tables and glass cookie jars of spices along the walls. Read more

Don't sit in the very back. Tables are tiny and noise from bathroom overwhelming. Go for the spicy beef salad if you can stomach the 2 pepper level.

Impeccable service. If you are in a large group order the appetizer special - allows you to try 5 things to share & is a great way to start your meal with something for all your dining companions.

When you ask for extra spicy (the only way to show you are not a wimp) make sure you specify fresh chilies otherwise the dry chilies mess too much with the flavor.

The Panang Sauce is spicy, but perfectly spicy! 1 in 100 children are born w/a heart defect. Pulse-Ox screening saves lives. #100x100
