Ask what's fresh that day, and get it. Consistently impressed with the freshness coupled with warm service
The spicy scallop roll was super spicy...in a good way!
Horse mackerel sashimi was excelent!
Lunch bento boxes are great!
get the rainbow roll! all of the sushi is fresh, nothing is outstanding. Something a bit off about their rice too- kinda dry
Tuna lovers special is a must
Ok this was not only NOT Nobu, it was just BAD! I guess if you're used to a certain quality - mediocre will just not do.
Get the daily specials. You can get your shrimp head fried when you're done.
Quite possibly the nicest staff & manager I've ever met. They accidentally overcharged my card, I brought it to their attention, they apologized so much & are now treating me to a free dinner.
Some of the best sushi in bk. Platter for two is great
Get the Salmon nigiri and the Spicy Alaskan roll.
great lunch special. favorite sushi place in my neighborhood. ume shiso hirame roll & agedashi tofu
Fried oyster roll was amaze!
Best sushi in the Slope. Great chirashi bowl and the Salmon Lover set is incredible.
Good nigiri sushi. Their chu toro is often delicious.
Best Kani sushi around!
Real Crab California Roll is the way to go.
Real crab California roll. Get it and you will never eat regular California rolls again.
Bypass the lines at Geido and mosey down Flatbush Avenue for equally satisfying sushi at Taro. Dark, wood fixtures and minimal design provide a moody backdrop for indulgences like toro tartar.
So freakin good.
Come with a date & get the Special Sushi for 2. It includes 16 pieces of sushi, a shrimp tempura roll & a mountain roll (spicy tuna, avocado & yellowtail) - all for $49. Everything is super fresh too!
Everything was perfect - try to get the lunch special if you can, it's a great value for such quality.
Amazing. So good.
It has been a long time since I've had sushi this good in New York. The udon is worth it too.
Agedashi Tofu is good for sharing; decent sushi; red bean mochi was yummy
Super disappointed as recommendation came from a newly ex-pat Japanese friend. Butterfish had skin and tasted old. Nothing was really fresh. Prices were ok.
It's busy, but not too busy that it should take more than 5 minutes to pour me a glass of water
Taro is great. I really like the 3 oyster special as a starter (on the menu frequently).
Try the *Doctor* Octopus sashimi.
Awesome omakase. Uni and amaebi are a must! Fish tastes fresh and prices are a steal for the quality.
Killer omakase. Get the special sushi for two to share amongst three is you get apps. They will make it for three as well.
Salmon Bento box is completely worth it for a variety
Wait for it... wait for it... there it is. The whole building shakes when Iron Man and/or the Men in Black are chasing their enemies through the NY subway.
The salmon teriyaki wasn't worth it. In sure I managed to order the only thing that didn't taste good here.
Head to Geido up the street.
Such an awesome omakase here. Best sushi in all of Brooklyn!
Special sushi for 2 is absolute perfection.
the only place in Brooklyn I know of that serves my favorite - natto roll!
best sushi in the slope. ask them what's fresh and treat yoself to a couple pieces of chu toro.
Gyu-tan shio is yum! Great appetizer before sushi for two!
The special sushi for two is always perfect. As is the monkfish liver and age tofu!
Going with their daily specials can never steer you wrong
Deluxe seaweed salad was the best I've ever had
It's cheap, it's good, and it's never too much of a wait. Come a few times and the waitstaff will remember you.
Try the pork katsu roll for something different.
Does warm sushi sound good to you? This place is gross. Go to Geido at Flatbush and Park; this restaurant just handles the overflow.
A bit expensive, and not Exactly what I would describe as "good.". There are much better sushi spots in the area. Instead go to 'Gen' on Washington ave. Much better food and presentation.
Omakase course waa very good. Almoat like Tokyo.
Mediocre. The sushi was just fine. The avoc. tofu salad was not good. Spider roll just tasted like fried batter. Geido,1 block up, is authentic & better. Kiku on 5th ave has the best sushi around.
