Used to love coming in here for a piece of cake but won't ever again after I saw the man behind the counter picking his nose.

The blueberry brioche looks better than it tastes. Go with the fruit tart.

Two things happened to us here last night:1)a rat ran from the area of the cake case toward the restroom 2)dude behind the counter put his finger in his nostril then grabbed the milk...won't be back.

The Mexican Grill in Tart to Tart used to be L'Avenida, still great in the new location! Not to mention much more seating.

Pros: Incredibly nice staff, free (but sometimes kind of slow) wifi, convenient location, decent place to get work done. Cons: knitting parties on Monday nights that take up 20 seats. Wtf

If you can handle the intensity, get the chocolate mousse. House-made mousse, house-made whip. So. Incredibly. Rich. Worth it. Just make sure to find somewhere soft to lie down post sugar-high...

Now 2 hour free wifi. Lemon muffin is the best! And the chocolate mousse is perfect. I recommend trying the chicken curry sandwich if you're hungry.

Of all the tarts, the Apricot is by far the best one. If you don't feel like a tart, try their chocolate mousse. These guys are open until 1a (2a on F/S). Say hi to Hoy and Young.
