Loved having the "Tate Trumps" app before and during our recent visit - my daughter and I collected artwork to "battle" against the artwork collected by my husband and son!

Free exhibitions are great, as are the paid. Though at the moment you'll want to see both which is a little pricey. Go to the viewing deck on level 3. Stunning

Usually good shows. Wish there were more gallery space given the huge size of the building. Turbine hall shows are hit or miss. Can't argue with the price. Free for permanent collection.

Antiquated ticket sales system, expect long queues and high prices for exhibitions. Best avoided at wknds if you're not into crowds.

Any Sunday spent at the Tate Modern is never time wasted. Even just go and sit in front of Monet's Water-Lilies on Level 3 for ten minutes and you'll be guaranteed to have a good day.

There were some bits that were amazing. I LOVED the 1900s posters, but overall not my favorite museum. Had to pay for many exhibits. The building is too large and there were too many tourist.
