At the Brookline favorite’s new Kendall location is the pistachio croissant, made extra decadent with an additional round of butter folded in, house-prepared pistachio paste, and toasted pistachios.
A European cafe plopped on the outskirts of Brookline that serves beautiful pastries—some Middle Eastern-inspired—and a lavish breakfast built for two.
The shakshuka is great
Their pear juice is super tasty!
The best bakery and breakfast spot in Boston, the shakshoka is a must to try
Almond croissant. Warm soft flaky crisp in every bite. Best croissant by far! Excited to try everything else on the menu.
Don't get salad to go- SOGGY. Or the turkey sandwich - BURNT. Do get the chicken & avocado salad, breakfast sandwich, mint lemonade & any of the pastries!!!
Croissants and iced coffee are delicious.
The mint lemonade is where it's at.
The brioche breakfast is where it's at. 2 brioche, 2 types of preserves, and 2 small coffees. What more could a couple want in the morning.
(Best of Boston 2014-BAKERY)Improper Bostonian says, "This Brookline favorite recently welcomed three Cambridge siblings, but there are no growing pains here."
Get the almond croissant! Divine!
Great iced coffee.
Onion mozzarella quiche is perfection
Love their Cappuccino!
one of boston's best brunches
Their espresso drinks made from illy beans are the best in the neighborhood.
The Crunchy Halloumi salad is delicious!
Try the mint lemonade. ..f**king rocks!
Only a few tables inside, but they do offer outdoor seating for those nicer days.
Brownie here is legit.
May be a little bit more pricey than your usual place, but trust me it's well worth it. The food, coffee and pastries are always fresh and homemade; the atmosphere adds a bit of poshness to Beacon St.
Let Hammeau + Speck & Brie + Pastries!
Much better latte's than starbucks!
While Tatte is technically in Brookline, it's very close to several colleges in the Boston area. Their baristas are very friendly and they serve Illy coffee (one of my favorites).
The pear tart is devine!
Good coffee. Great brioche.
Family tip; grab a animal cookie for the kids when walking by.
This is my favorite tatte. Eggplant with goat cheese, tomatoes and pesto is to die for!! Grilled viggie is as good. Sandwiches sold out early.
My favorite brunch place in Boston. The pistachio croissant is incredible
Best brunch place in Cambridge! Try Shashuka and artichoke ham sandwich!
Their hot chocolate is made from actual chocolate bars and when the weather's nice, you can pretend you're having a European brunch at the outdoor seating
Shakshouka is delicious.
Really awesome salads and nice shady outside seating. Free wifi!
Best place for brunch in the area.
Great Cheesecake! Also try their poached eggs, which are served with tomatoes and halloumi cheese on Sourdough toast.
Here for breakfast? Try their Shakshuka. Looking for a snack? Get their pistachio croissant. Although honestly you pretty much can't go wrong with just about anything they have. It's all delicious.
Very good cheesecake, and awesome home-made lemonade in summer
Turkey sandwich yum
I don't drink coffee, but the breakfast sandwich and pastries are all excellent
The food: as delicious as it is photogenic. (Follow on Instagram at @tattebakery to whet your appetite.)
Turkey sandwich is basically Thanksgiving on brioche. Grab a mint lemonade and you're all set.
Ask for vegetables with the breakfast sandwich and it will save ur morning
Meringue perfection. Truly.
Looks and tastes like an european bakery... Means awesome! :)
Seriously, crumbs cheesecake is fucking awesome.
The tarts are worth the frustration you'll feel at the counter.
Everything is fantastic.
