Best. Hoagies. Ever. Online Ordering & Delivery Available.
A little messy, but these guys know their way around a good sandwich. Check out the odd soda collection.
Hoagies! Roast pork!
The sandwiches are fantastic, but if you're not in the mood, the Jefferson Square salad is a must, which comes with delicious toppings like Genoa salami, spicy pepperoni, sharp provolone and chickpeas
The Sandwiches are a loaf of yummmmz :-)
Best subs in DC! Get the JFK: breaded chicken, portobello mushroom & goat cheese on whole wheat. Eat outside and enjoy the sun :)
The Federal St is my favorite sandwich
Can't go wrong with the Cottman Avenue, Italian-breaded chicken cutlet with pepperoni, roasted red peppers, basil and fresh mozzarella served on original bread topped with sesame seeds.
I haven't been in a few weeks. New menu looks good!
Ask for the Delaware Ave- the best sandwich ever to be removed off a menu
Loved the Island Ave with grilled chicken!
This place is too expensive for their mediocre sandwiches. Subway's sandwiches taste better. Quiznos. Jimmy Johns. Potbellys. Safeway's sandwiches next door are $5 and are bigger with more meat.
Franklin square salad- add pesto and grilled chicken. Trust me.
Nice space and sandwiches are philly style if you are into that. Risotto balls are very yummy but the sandwiches end up being a little dry
Everyone loves the chicken cutlets, but the Cherry Street is not to be missed.
Penn square is delicious
When ordering risotto balls, always choose sausage. Same price as regular but way better.
Sandwich fame aside, they do a mean fried ravioli here.
Great veggie subs that aren't stuffed with gross mushrooms. Try the wharton and the Lancaster. Win.

The stuffed peppers and The Risotto Balls are AMAZING. The Pattison sandwich was pretty good too!
Soda machine rocks!!!
I always get the Penn Square.
The Cherry Street sandwich is delish!
JFK breaded chicken cutlet on whole wheat with pesto
Ask for the special menu.
Usually order the South Street but I recommend the Oregon Ave for a nice change of pace.
They have the new cherry stuffed peppers, man were they really hotttttt. TG ROCKS
South Street and Risotto Balls
Get the JFK and get it breaded. Get the 12 inch and save the rest for lunch.
The fritto options (meatballs and raviolis) are excellent
Love Park Salad. Amazing.
Of the 38 hoagie options available, our favorite is the '9th Street Italian' with Genoa salami, capicola, prosciutto, and sharp provolone.
they are always out of something: tonight it was breaded chicken and bread. get there early.
Mayors get an order of Risotto Balls with purchase of a Hoagie. We reward big ballers :)
Ludlow sandwich. It's not on the menu - risotto balls with a marinara sauce. Amazing!
The Locust Street is my fav
If you have a large group, call ahead. When you get there, cut to the front of the line!
Try the hot pork or chicken sandwiches. Amazing!
Besides their wonderful sandwiches, try their deep fried risotto balls.
Buy one and get one almost free by sharing a 12".
Two words: Philly. Landfill.
Gotta agree with others. The Vine Street Expressway is a thing of beauty. A joy forever, as well. Get it. Get it now!
Fantastic sandwiches, using Sarcone's famous Philly bread. Phenomenal.
We are going to keep it fresh and continually change up the specials!
The Market Street might pull your face off.
Penn Quarter - chicken, prosciutto, swiss - is divine. Be sure to ask for grilled chicken, though.
If you get the Ben Franklin, ask for extra marinara sauce & the Deleware Ave w/ gorgonzola is great!!
