bring your own beer or wine.
Order the mixed grill, and extra lamb chops if you can handle the meat feast!
You must order the lamp chops starter - IT'S THE LAW!
BYO at Tayyabs which keeps things cheap, but at the weekend show up earlier than you want to eat because the (not really justifiable) queue - even if you book - will leave you ravenous.
If you have room left for desserts, give the Raas Malai a try. Delicious! Haven't tasted any this good in all of London
I have died and gone to heaven several times at this joint. Mixed grill, saag aloo and chana masala FO LIFE. Makes a girl happy. I can now sleep with a big smile.
Don't wear your best outfit here. You'll never get the smell out.
Go to Tayyabs and ignore the curries- they are good but not amazing. However the lamb chops are the best in London. Oh and book a table too.
go earlier in the week to avoid the line
Book online and you'll be seated immediately if you arrive on time. But shh, don't tell the queueing hoards!
Lamb chops are as good as everyone says they are. Food is good & cheap! Definitely a great place!
Due to their apparent admission from sovereign status, Tayyabs do not serve tap water
Byo and order the lamb chops!!!
Try to get a seat downstairs. It is less smoky and cooler.
Best indian in the east end! Bring your own bottle and order the lamb chops
Grills- get the lamb chop, masala fish, chicken tikka. Mains- get the saag meat (lamb), and okra
Took 2 hours from entering the restaurant to getting food on the table. Totally waste of time, don't bother.

One of the best places to eat in London
Book a table ahead - food is excellent
We were told this is the best curry house in London. We went 30 minutes out of our way on the tube to get here, plus a bit of a walk. 100% worth it.
The best curry in London. Dinner for 3 - £38 + doggy bag. Don't forget to bring your bottle of wine with you.
Great food, really the best Indian (Punjabi) food tried in London, nice the bring-your-own-alcohol idea.
Do not turn up hungry and even if you book do NOT expect to get to eat at a reasonable time.
Best yet and worth the long wait. Also reminder it's byob so you can get drunk while waiting
A guest brought her own drinks. Thats was fancy!
Tandoori Chicken. Garlic Naan... No fork. No knife. Nuff said.
Great meat. Avoid the mixed grill, it's a selection of their cheapest/least tasty fare.
Masala fish - incredible!
Delish! Def get lamb chops and keema
Very authentic! Get there by 6pm for dinner it starts to get pretty crowded after and longer wait for a table.
Tayyabs do takeout too, just go up to the back of the restaurant on the left and order.
Finish your meal with pistachio kulfi!
If you don't want to queu, book your table online.
Careful when paying by card. They will pretend the machine is not working to make you pay in cash. Say you don't have cash and suddenly the machine will start to work. Awful behaviour.
Good food, but very loud, crowded and generally unpleasant
The Mango/Banana Lassi is undoubtedly the best in the world.. A must try!!
Lamb chops and dry meat is a must-have at Tayyabs!
бегом сюда! очень вкусно!
