Legendary theatre. Very big stage and beatufil saloon. Must watch a show here but the museum is not must to see if you have limited time
Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful theaters in europe
By far the best place to see in Milan! Make sure to have a visit, to see inside the theater and if possible see a performance inside. It is really amazing!
A must see when in Italy
Waiting for Otello!
Loved costumes! Great collection of music instrument. Balcony looking at the theatre.
Named after a woman who initially built a church in the same place. It which was demolished to create this beautiful theater. If you're lucky while touring, you'll see the performers during rehearsal!
Real treat Opera as it should be!!!!
Everyone has its own free cloakroom. At the break you can ask for your ticket to be changed with any unsold ticket free of charge, just ask at the desk in the main foyer. The staff is very helpful.
Make sure to book your ticket well in advance so you can get decent seats. If you're late, be prepared to pay lots of money for a crappy seat from someone re-selling their tickets.
So difficult to have a ticket!!!! Why?????
Beautiful shows in Milan
Really big difference between the exterior and magical elaborate interior of the building , unforgettable experience 😱👍🎼🎶🎵🎻🎺🎷
This is fantastic!!!
It is a dream house :)
A lot of history here. The orchestra is great!
What an experience! Outstanding performance:-) Perfect all through. The building itself is also worth a visit. Be smart when buying the tickets. The hotel packages are not a great deal. Friendly staff
If you have no time for the evening performance, at least go inside. Classy opera house.
Fun place to visit and tour or see an opera! Sometimes there are rehearsals during the day that can be seen if you are not planning to stay for an opera.
The ballet (pink floyd) was fantastic
Swan Lake The best ever
Jewels - Balletto
Much better the orchestra stalls than boxes (very small and overcrowded) and galleries
Must have for all who visit Milano!!!
Outstanding ballet. Admirable performance of Natalia Osipova
It isn't over until the fat lady sings.
Probably the most famous opera house in the world
If you are touring the museum, check the sign by the box office, if there are rehearsals on, you won't be allowed to see the theatre.
Undoubtedly the most prestigious opera house in the world, it was built from 1776 to 1778 and holds 2 000 people in its six-tiered auditorium. – Green Guide Editor
You can buy tickets at the Duomo subway station
Awesome! Great opera, great place, and great acoustic. It is important to dress very elegantly, for men, shirt and jacket are required, better a suit.
Awesome place and awesome operas. Possible to get last minute tickets at the entrance, or to queue for one of the 140 12€ tickets sold for the higher gallery some afternoons. A bit long, but worth it!
The operas by La scala are the best for me.
It owes its name to the place where it was built, by the neoclassical architect Giuseppe Piermarini: the site of the church of Santa Maria alla Scala. http://tinyurl.com/d4zj93f
Yes, music is great but tickets are expensive and almost impossible to find.
If you can get hold of, or afford, a ticket to La Scala, opera-lovers worldwide will hold you in higher esteem. La Scala has a massive stage, 2,015 seats and some of the best acoustics in the world.
This is one of the main attraction which makes to be proud of living Milan
This is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. If you’re watching famous Italian operas, better to get your tickets in advance. Ticket prices range from €5 to about over €180.
The best opera house in Milan!
You may see a concert for €5 and opera for €12. Just for you to know: you can afford culture!
