This place's simple "hole in the wall" ambience actually has its appeal. Terakawa dense broth def tastes different from that at ToTo, setagaya or other ramen places in the city, and is worth trying.
The miso taken was hearty and delicious -- a solid broth. The massive kyu-shu danji ramen is fantastic with a bone broth that is to die for.
This place is the best Ramen. Fresh noodles and the gyoza is bomb. They don't have Sapporo at this location but the staff mentioned I could go out and byob. Excellent service.
It's not the greatest ramen place, it's also not the worst. I come here often as it's close to home and there's generally no wait - unlike ToTo Ramen. Skip the apps - go straight for the Miso Ramen.
Decent ramen- I recommend the tan tan, but don't come for good service or arrive after 10. The lone angry Cantonese woman will do her best to guilt-trip-throw-you-out.
The best ramen I ever had. You have to get the terakawa ramen. The depth of flavor is incredible, it takes them two days just to make the broth!
Hole in the wall ramen. No frills, good food, great service. For those who don't want to wait at Toto Ramen.
Very rich broth here compared to other ramen joints, but we love how full it is. Our vote is for Black Garlic Oil ramen.
The tan tan ramen has a thick broth. Love it! Don't expect lots of ingredients in it though despite the higher price tag.
Their ramen is consistent and there's never too long of a wait! I prefer it to the overrated neighboring Totto Ramen which always disappoints.
BYOB, convenient to MAD and Lincoln center, solid ramen in classic shared-counter arrangement. Nice!
The broth was super oily and the flavor tasted old in a bad way. Ippudo is my jam. Tonkotsu all day eeerrday.
Excellent ramen - and usually no line to eat in!!! Live this place!
Was ok. Got the spicy tan-tan it is pretty filling. I like their dumplings and the NOODLES!
This place is tiny! Everyone sits around a U shaped bar counter. Truly a hole in the wall for better or worse.
The Kyushu danji ramen lies about its size. Order if you wish to feed a village.
Cash only. 11 seats, so go between 3pm and 6pm to get a seat.
The miso ramen is great, the portions are a good size and the prices are fair
Black garlic ramen is the way to go here. Or the tan tan ramen.
Order the terakawa ramen instead of the miso one. Miso is good but too salty.
Cash only, no bathroom. It is an ok ramen place. The broth is thick.
Solid spot in the area. Not "the best" but very satisfying still.
My favorite ramen joint besides totto. Very delicious and cheap!
I really don't think this is legitimate ramen...also the pork in the miso one was gross.
Wow, really spicy and delish dish, tan tan ramen.
Small place and good food. I really loved the rice.
I've had ramen all over NYC and this was quite possibly the worst ramen experience of my life. RIP Teriyaki Boy.
tan tan ramen is yummy. gyoza is not.
Save your soup & order extra noodle!
Getting a dumpling and ramen fix at this random joint
Their lunch sets are only availabe on weekdays.
The terakawa ramen is delish!
Try the mayu ramen ;)
$9 lunch special w/ $2 side is great.
Always tan-tan ramen! What else? 😊
they have seasame grinders!
Fits only 11 people. Cash only.
Mayu ramen dish is incredible
The Tan tan ramen is delicious
Ramen is excellent
Remember kids, cash only.
Hummm it's the same staff as Terayaki Boy...
Miso ramen is way too salty
feels like a little slice of Tokyo
Try the ramen!
Tan Tan is always good.
Very good ramen!
Achei tudo muito bom. Miso Ramen,TanTan Ramen, Guioza e Oniguiri. Além do ótimo atendimento.
