There is a fantastic outdoor courtyard (also smoking area, but plenty of room to get fresh air) with Lizarron restaurant & Costa Coffee to get out of the indoors and feel some warm Barcelona sun.

Leave time for shopping--Mango, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Desigual, etc all have shops here with same prices (and sales) as downtown--and are often even better stocked!

Comfortable airport - very modern - taxi to the city approx. 20-25 EUR ... - if you missed shopping in Barcelona, you find Mango, Zalando, etc. also behind security control ...

Hola and welcome to Barcelona! You've just landed on the second largest airport in Spain. The quickest ways to the city center are the Aerobus (5€), taxis (25-35€) or trains (2.90€). Enjoy your stay! Read more

Welcome to BCN. To get to the city, find the train in T2, and buy a T-10; its good for every public transport in BCN, and the cheapest fare to get to the city.

Modern terminal with gigantic outdoor smoking/relax space and nonstop McDonalds inside gate area. Best terminal if you have to spend the night at the airport (after security).

Airport is modern, big and nice. Is little bit complicate to find the gates. Also there are few toilets and there are not so clean. There are great shops, and lot of cafeterias...

Taking the train downtown? Buy a T10 card at the station for 10 trips at a reduced price, around 0.95 per trip including connections with city buses and underground! A single ticket costs 2€!

If you're weighing up whether get the train or bus into the city, I suggest the bus. It's a 'cup of coffee' more expensive but a lot more convenient from T1/T2 and generally quicker in my experience.

Take a break. Sit down on the floor and look out. See how many people work to make your trip possible. So maybe your delay has a reason. Its not that easy th get all the pieces in place i think

Forget about healthy food in this terminal: its a monopoly where all outlets sell the same variety of sandwiches and baguetes. And worse: there are no whole grain ones on offer! Can this be adressed??

For those from the United States, the departure gate is not listed until a little while before the flight. You will know the departure area but not the gate number until then.

For cheap BCN transport, take the train. The fare is 1,40 eur & takes u to city center. Good deal compared to the Aerobus (5€) & faster. I'm local & always do this.

If you need to take a taxi to the centre of Barcelona, it should be around 30€, not much more. Airbus is 5,30€/single ticket. Local bus and train from Terminal 2 is the cheapest (bit slowest) option
