If you are flying with US Airways, you need to check in at terminal 2 (not t1), and come back to t1 for boarding. Flight information on AA and US websites is not updated yet.

What the?! Terminal 1 Wasteland now connects to Terminal 2 Nirvana! Decent coffee, warm food choices, and the yoga room await. Yesssss.

Eat before you arrive as the food options simply suck.

Walk 7 minutes to terminal 2 and escape this crappy one. Really nice, new terminal. Lots of good, healthy eats, modern seating, outlets and good lighting.

I like food here... But the price.. Lol

As other tips have mentioned, Terminal 1 has practically no food and isn't nearly as nice as the International Terminal and Terminal 2.

Getting better, but still not terminal 2.

If you plan to park at airport keep 10 extra minutes. Poor signage.

There is only one restaurant past security. If you have time, walk past all the ticket counters to the International terminal (5 min) and there are several food and bar options like Firewood Grill

TSA Precheck at security point B opens Oct 10 2013. Point C is already open but doesn't connect to the same gates.

Making a connection to a gate in Terminal 1 from Terminal 2 or 3? Be aware-there is no connection by foot!Go to an info counter and they will direct you to a bus that will transport you.

Check out the cases at the east end of the terminal: next to the connection to the International Terminal. Glass cases hold artifacts from airlines that no longer operate. There is also a museum too!

Best place to post up for the night and do work is just to the right of where security starts (when facing security). Tables, chairs, outlets...

If you are taking BART to the airport and flying out of Terminal 1, skip the Air Train. Walk to the other side of the international terminal and follow the signs to the domestic terminal walkway.
