The world`s most relaxing and convenient hub. Noone can beat those 35 mins min conex time. Did you note that, even during peak hours, it is so quiet in there despite thousands of people transferring?
Without any doubt: when changing flights in Europe, MUC is your #1 choice. Smooth, quiet, cosy, great shopping and excellent restaurants. And: 35 minutes minimum connection time is unrivaled.
One of the most efficient airports I have seen! It is very clean and you get around it quickly. It is not impressive in architecture per se but it’s clockwork. Lufthansa business lounges are 👍 :)

The arrival point for visitors from around the world. Lufthansa lands at Terminal 2. The adjoining observation deck offers a wonderful view of the take-off and landing runways.

Great Sushi and Sashimi at Terminal 2 Upper Level (Level 5) in the Public area (above the checkin counters) - not quite cheap but excellent quality ! WOW ! Also very delicious thai dishes!
Lufthansa is correct in proudly calling MUC their "premium hub". It`s the worlds nicest and most convenient terminal with all Star Alliance carriers under one roof. And it´s so quiet in there..
Only 30min of free wifi is barely enough, if you wait for a connecting flight longer, but free tea, coffee and newspaper at the gates provided by Lufthansa make up for that! :)
Sadly duty free is neither Heinemann nor Dufry but is well stocked. Modern efficient airport. Sadly no airside postboxes which Frankfurt airport provide and post for you with Deutsche Post.
When you are hungry here, it's best to eat before passing Security checks, if you are boarding at terminal one; at Terminal 2 there' s plenty of choice & good quality behind security.

Instead of the S-Bahn use the Lufthansa Shuttlebus (even if you didn't fly Lufthansa) to get straight to Munich Central Station. Air-Con, non stop, and you get to ride on the Autobahn. Price: 11 Euro.
When flying w/ Lufthansa you get free coffee/tea and newspapers while waiting - welcome relief from the expensivecappuccinos found elsewhere in the airport.
One of the few places in the world where you could find a Fabriano shop. For all those who are tired of molskine wannabe writers here is a true original.
A taxi to munich will cost u 50 to 60€. If there is a couple or more its better than a train cause u get to where u want for only like 10 to 15 more. So ask a driver
