At boarding area 'L', if you have time you might want to go at the very end of the terminal (near gate L35). There is a nice view of the runway and a bunch of long chair if you're lucky.
  • Tiffany Z.
Not the best terminal in Paris, but the layout in nice and spacious! There is a great vegetarian healthy cafe called Ekki! Definitely recommend it 😉

Look for acces no.1 if you are silver/gold frequent flyer or traveling by business/1st class. You will go thru immigration and security in a 5 mins compared to long wait in the general queue.
    Umesh Rajani · July 23, 2011
  • Bruno G.
... while waiting (PS3, bookstore, nap-designed areas...), people might be unpleasant but it's France, so what do you expect? Air France is often a safe bet, as far as companies are concerned.
    Bruno G. · January 27, 2012
  • Baptiste C.
Free museum, ps3 game boxes, home cinema, wall garden, clean toilets.... This terminal is one the best i ever stayed. Only one thing is missing: unlimited free wifi :-)
    Baptiste C · March 23, 2013
  • Kayode M.
Do not come to his airport terminal hungry. Eat before you get here, else you will have to settle for very lame food for a very expensive price. I just paid €5 for a bottle of Coca Cola...But warned!
    Kayode Martins · June 29, 2013
  • Meg R.
Eat before you get here or buy food before you come through security! Nowhere to eat or even get coffee except Le Kiosque and their sad premade sandwiches. Also, NO airport bar... for shame!
    Meg Robertson · December 31, 2012
  • Peter S.
This airport terminal is lame and ridiculous. There are only no name takeout food places. Eat before you come here otherwise you will be getting sick off the food and spending way too much. Terrible!
    Peter Sena · November 1, 2012
  • Mark H.
Get ready for rude people, bad service, and overpriced stuff. Your bag also has a 50-50 chance of getting thru this airport to it's intended destination. Other than that this airport is great!
    Mark Holmen · June 13, 2011
  • Nick P.
Avoid, if at all possible! Customer service is terrible - they leave you waiting at security while operator A goes off on a break, 10 minutes later operator B turns up to carry on! Worse than Tesco!
    Nick Price · August 7, 2012
  • Alexey P.
Don't go to La Terasse cafe in front of the passport check desks. It is TERRIBLE. There are better choice around - illy on the ground floor (arrivals area) and at the gate 28, also Paul.
    Alexey Patsko · August 29, 2010
  • Ale E.
Food selection in K gates is fairly limited. Food court food looks like it's been sitting there for a while. You'll have to survive on cold sandwiches and salads.
    Ale Espino · August 23, 2014
  • Bruno G.
While i agree that food prices are downright outrageous, i don't agree with most of the bad comments here: architecture-wise, terminals E and F are interesting, there are many things to do...
    Bruno G. · January 27, 2012
  • Stephen T.
Get your hot food before security. The only option inside seems to be a lame buffet of food from different countries where they reheat your paper plate of terrible food in a microwave.
    Stephen Tallamy · December 13, 2010
  • Francis H.
Food vendors suck.. They advertise taking credit card, then after waiting in line the cashier says cash only.. Make sure to bring some Euros if you want to eat their overpriced food!
    Francis Hsu · November 20, 2011
  • Andrea P.
Leave yourself plenty of time if you are transferring from another terminal to this one. The epic journey included 2 buses, passport control and endless lines
    Andrea P · October 27, 2013
  • Remi T.
The "smoking area" at the end of the terminal by gate M50 is actually a nice outdoors patio for a breath of air before your 8+ flight !
    Remi Trang · October 17, 2012
  • Virgilio F.
Don't go to the restaurant upstairs,it's horrible. Go for a veg cafè Ekxi near K47 or Illy near K39.Try their cannolo siciliano YUMM...
    Virgilio F · March 29
  • Ilja S.
Note that the terminal is divided into several zones, so check your gate letter, you might need to take a bus or train INSIDE the terminal.
    Ilja Shatilin · September 8, 2013
  • Katie K.
Seriously people, have you ever been to the airport in st Petersburg, Russia? Trust me, this place and this terminal looks like palace, so stop complaining, this airport is awesome.
    Katie Korn · April 9, 2012
  • Katie K.
Omg and people complain about queues and security system! There's nooo security system or queues! People just stand as unorganized moving mass there
    Katie Korn · April 9, 2012
  • Spencer T.
This terminal is bright, clean and modern. It has ample seating and is very spacious. You are here to catch a plane not a film!
    Spencer Taylor · September 8, 2011
  • Mathias H.
Bring an empty bottle and fill it up for free at the drinking fountain located next to the bathroom at the end of terminal, by gate E44.
    Mathias Herberts · May 6, 2011
  • HiroTag
Snack and drinks at Cafe in front of GateE40 are relatively inexpensive and tasty than take-away restaurant at 3rd floor.
    HiroTag · January 1, 2012
  • Arturo S.
illy cafe @ gate 28 offers short but good options of food and decent coffee. As a desser, try the Tiramisu, you wont regret it. Play station area nearby.
    Arturo Salazar · December 20, 2010
  • Dolapo O.
The food options need looking at, the choices are really poor. I mean curry for breakfast :-/....and 30 mins free wifi is not the one!
    Dolapo Olaoye · November 17, 2013
  • Armen D.
If at all possible, avoid CDG. When transiting through Europe, LHR or Amsterdam is your best bet. Munich's good too, but smaller.
    Armen Devejian · July 25, 2011
  • Pierre H G.
Fucking worst border control in the whole world. 2 booth open for all arriving flights. Anywhere else you would put enough people. Instead they put 2 guys to do an additional control on the plane.
    Pierre H G · November 14, 2011
  • Marc P.
Probably the worst airport in the world. Be ready to walk for miles, wait 1:30 for your luggage and to end up in a massive queue at immigration... Cool
    Marc Princivalle · March 23, 2011
  • Eric B.
NB: Terminal 2E is at least three buildings connected by a tram, each with their own security checkpoints. Verify your gate.
    Eric Bell · October 1, 2015
  • julianlstar
If you are stuck in 2E Gates 21-47 Good Luck. You are captive with an extortionate refreshment stand. Prey for the timeliness of your flight.
    julianlstar · November 30, 2010
  • Ania K.
If you take an early 7 a.m. flight and want to have tax free, note that customs only works starting from 6 a.m. (best case)

I disagree with another poster who claimed that Air France is a bad company. In fact, it is much better than most US companies: the food and service is much better.
    Alex S. · August 20, 2012
  • Colin D.
Make sure you eat before you arrive here. One small food "mall" and a few small bars with scabby sandwiches.
    Colin Dale · August 31, 2012
  • Ulla S.
AF business lounge at CDG 2E is the best one I have visited ever, food-wise. (a bit crowded though)
    Ulla Saari · January 4, 2011
  • Charles H.
New clean and quiet terminal. Try the fast food restaurant lots of organic and healthy salads.
    Charles H · December 17, 2012
  • John H.
Food here pretty bad. Anywhere that makes Stansted look like a gourmet's paradise like cdg 2e does should hang it's head in shame.
    John Hobson · November 5, 2010
  • Tim W.
If you wanted to look at what a 13euro meal looks like in the food court. Microwaved food served on polystyrene plates
    Tim Watson · January 19, 2012
  • Richard L.
Cannot understand why anyone complains about this terminal - decent smoking hutch and generally very efficient...
    Richard Lewis · April 27, 2012

Charge your phone for free in the boxes between gates K35 and K37; the wifi is unlimited but you need to re-log every 5 mins
    Michaela Pokorná · November 16, 2015

The poorest food court ever ! No Starbucks no mc Donald's ! No place to buy a god damn coffee at 8am in the morning !
    Berkay Hidiroglu · January 5, 2013

Go to Charles DeGaulle at your own peril. If you go, make sure you have a multi-hour layover. Security line is massive!

Terrible place to wait. But you have 15 min of wifi for free (for each device): make the best of it.
    Daniz · January 21, 2011

At least it has a few smoking areas. That's all that can be said for it. Oh yes it very clean.
    Brian Doherty · February 27, 2012
