Healthy breakfast option = multiple places that offer oatmeal, including Piazza, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Cibo Express. I recommend Cibo for fast and decent and you can pair it with mixed fruit.

Probably the best terminal in JFK. Granted that's not saying much, since the bar is very low. I liked how (relatively) welcoming the international arrival section was. It was clean and modern.

T5 was designed by choreographer Jerry Mitchell & architect David Rockwell. The design eliminates criss-crossing & opts for circles & airy atriums. Free wifi, good food & plentiful places to plug-in.

Don't wait in line 🚶🏼🚶🏼🚶🏼 for Starbucks. The Ben and Jerry's by Gate 25 serves 🌲🌲🌲 Green Mountain coffee ☕️ and there's no line. 👍🏼

Check out the Lacoste shop near Gate 7. Good deal on T-Shirt. Duty free. Free Wi-Fi and very pleasant terminal. No doubt. Jet Blue is among the top airlines serving the US and the Caribbean.

The sit down dining options in the terminal are good enough that getting to the airport early and having a relaxed meal before you fly is an option. It's also a great way to start a flight.

JetBlue first bag is free as long as it's within weight limits. Max is 50lbs. Anything upto 70lbs is $50 and from 71-99lbs is $100. All bags to DR cannot go over 50lbs. No exceptions.

The Jet Blue hometown terminal in NYC is absolutely the best - free WIFI, great food, entertainment on surprise dates, and friendly staff - come early to this party!

If you don't have time or money for one of the restaurants, hit the food court's hot bar. Self-serve is fast, there are always tasty options, and you end up getting more food for less money!

Hungry? Got 30 minutes before your flight? Go to CIBO sandwich counter, order a Boars Head smoked turkey & brie sandwich on ciabatta w/ tomato, red onions, & honey mustard. Prepare to be amazed.

Nicest terminal I've flown through in the US and definitely on par with the best internationally too. Just be tactical about moving through the Dunkin' Donuts area. It can get a little hairy at times.

When the bag drop off line is RIDICULOUSLY long everywhere, check to see if the full service line is shorter. There are two Check-In areas. Saved me 5x time this morning. Sitting at my gate :)

People, Deep Blue. They'll crank you through (really quite excellent) sushi in 15 minutes while you wistfully recall the original dingy, defunct Deep Blue at Terminal 6.

I feel like this is the best terminal! They finally opened Starbucks near 23-27 gate. The Wi-Fi is free. Downside is that it is pretty far from air train.

Jonesing for a quick cup of coffee? Skip the long line at Dunkin Donuts and hit up the self-serve station. Good thinking D&D!

Stake your claim at a table on the elevated platform in the middle of the atrium (it has power outlets in the floor!). Then do some serious email checking and people-watching from your lofty perch.

Head down to Gate 28 for access to the rooftop patio. Just a bit quieter and less busier than other areas in the airport. The fresh air is nice. Still no smoking.

The booze sold at the bars by gates 22 & 16 are pretty cheap. And they even give you plastic cups to let bring your "drinks" on the plane with you. =P

Even the smallest interior details -- ticket counters, chairs, signs, and telephone booths -- of Eero Saarinen’s 1962 design were intended to complement the terminal’s gull-winged shell exterior.

If you're stuck for hours and can't pass security, take the air train to terminal 4, you'll find public shops and places to eat (Mc Donald's, KFC, etc..) before the security gates.

Stock up on some good snack options before your flight at CIBO. The Peeled Snacks pineapple snack is my favorite.
