Best way to fly in and out of new york. It's like a small town airport (if that small town was mostly populated by rich business folks).
Both the exterior and interior were designated as landmarks in 1980 including a polychromatic terra-cotta frieze of flying fish and central rotunda encircled by a sprawling mural by James Brooks.
Minimum amount of small children And people who have never been to an airport
by far the best terminal for shuttle flights to d.c., boston, chicago
Like regular laguardia, but a little less shitty
If you've got time - check out the retro cafeteria to the left of check-in (down the hall in the atrium). It's cheap + greasy -- and completely delightful.
When no one knows where your terminal is, security lines are non existant.
people going through this terminal seem more likely to understand what one is supposed to do in an airport security line (remove laptop, take off shoes, put objects in bins, etc.) it's glorious.
Free magazines on the way to the gates. Nice!
Come in through the old Art Deco terminal. It has a beautiful flight mural.
Check in using your iPhone. 100% paperless! Never need to print a boarding pass or mess with stupid conformation codes again!
Worst Ramp Agents ever!!... :D
It's a hidden jewel, you get off the plane your suitcases will be on the baggage carousel promptly, and you'll be in a cab in no time. In less than 10 minutes
This is the only way to fly from NYC to Chicago.
Coffee and juice are free at this terminal at the table near the windows. Nonetheless, it is horrible coffee.
Grab a bagel on the jetway
Make sure you check to see if you're leaving from this terminal...there's no way to walk from main terminal to here! Take either the free shuttle or a taxi...
love the municipal airport feel of this place
Fastest security ever!
This place is desperately in need of renovation. Looks like something out of the 80s.
It is HOT HOT HUMID in the atrium. Totally not cool.
6:00 AM. Alone in unmanned, empty terminal. Security line doesn't open till 7:00 AM. No employees on duty anywhere. Ghost town.
Where the hell am I?
Enjoy the Marine Terminal while you can. The FAA recently approved the DL-US route swap, and the two airlines are swapping their terminals @ LGA too. Soon this will be USAir shuttle flights.
I know the terminal is small but delta should still put a small sky club in here so we dont have to pay for overpriced drinks during inevitable flight cancellations
You can check-in, go thru security and get to your gate in 5 minutes.
9 times out of 10 your cab won't know what this place is, so keep your eyes peeled for exit 5
Take the super shuttle
Took Super Shuttle from LaGuardia to Manhattan. Booked online. $26 round trip. Great value.
Shitty food but not a bad bar scene
hop the M60 bus and skip the cab --You can be anywhere in manhattan within 30-45 minutes.
A miserable place filled with miserable people.
Delta to ORD...fly United!
The free coffee tastes like feet... the pay coffee is OK but a large cup (about the size of a Grande) costs over $4. Wait to get on the plane if you can.
Use the old entrance for checkin while building under construction (Feb 2013)
Marine Air Terminal good to visit again
Nike+Fuel Band sets off the security alarm. Make sure you take it off before walking through!
New york's best kept secret!
The only way to go if flying to Chicago, fast, efficient, the lounge area has comfy chairs with charging stations galore.
Go like a pro, save time and money. Skip the taxi and hop the M60 bus ($2.25 w/ a metro card) to Astoria Blvd. Free transfer up the stairs to the N/Q train. You'll be anywhere in midtown in ~ 45 mins.
Fastest security line in NYC. You can get your boarding pass and be at the gate in 10 minutes.
Any time your gate begins with SH, you're in this terminal.
Come see me at baggage claim if you need any help or directions
If your taking the M60 to or from we are the last stop/or first stop. come get a meal and drink
Don't have the breakfast at la famiglia..gross..greasy...cold..& greasy..idk what I was thinking..
Check out the blast from the past cafeteria, although incredibly greasy, the pizza is kinda good.
If you fly a lot, the Gogo monthly pass is the way to go. Monthly unlimited Internet on all Gogo equipped flights using any Wi-Fi device. Starts immediately, renews automatically, cancel anytime.
Best airport terminal in a big city. Security is really quick, seats are comfortable and food is good. Nice work Delta!
