Old hotels are great and the remodeled room was excellent for the rate. The only thing I found lacking was a large, prominent bar

This is room 1023, which is a standard two bed room. It appeared to be about 600sf. We didn't hear a peep from anyone the entire time we were there.

Look for pink dLink bus on Main Street M-Sa 11a-11:30p every ~15 minutes for free ride to museums, parks + food in Dallas Arts District. Schedules + stops @ m.dart.org, route 722 on Where's My Bus?

Recent stay for INTA conf. Great lobby for meetings and visiting. Good food in bar. Large rooms. BUT overpriced lousy breakfast bar, no cold water in room, requests not handled. Should be better.

The worst customer service. Check in is at 3 pm, it's 6:45 and still waiting. Front desk basically told us tough, even though you have a wedding at 7 pm. For their mistake. No sorry or apology.

Try another option....after waiting 25 minutes in line to check in (at 5pm), we were told our room would be ready in 30 minutes. Took 90. Lack of customer service, truly sad. Won't return.
