Hungry? Come for happy hour for discounted appetizers and cocktails. Order the house soft pretzels and cheese for $5. The cheese is kept warm with a small candle. Oh, and the pretzels are delicious!
Fun, loud, classy bar fronts the establishment followed by attractive lounge-like seating. Adventurous menu delivers some surprisingly delicious fare. Jambalaya is quite yummy albeit not traditional.
This is not a upscale steakhouse like Morton's where you would expect hefty bill close to 200 bucks for two. While very lively and casual, it does not compromise with the quality of food. A-
Plan ahead for events. If you're attending a game/concert downtown I recommend making a reservation. The place gets very full and can be hard to get in and out in time if you show up right before.
Parking downtown can be tricky. Some don't realize that the metered parking downtown shuts off at 5pm. If you're attending an event and getting dinner before, find a meter and you can park for free.
The perfect place in downtown Phoenix to grab a fresh meal and geeky cocktail at a reasonable price! Try the peaches and peppers cocktail and pair it with a salmon kale salad! Yum
Save the cheese! If you've been here before you know how great the pretzel and fondue cheese is. Ration the cheese and save it for your entree. It's great with fries especially.
Well disappointed in the service and the price. 11.50 for a shot of Jamison and 11.50 for a shot of gentlemen jack. Weak, the bartender was incredibly rude. Should not have stayed.
Had the oysters, the filet mignon, zucchini fritters, and for dessert a pumpkin cheesecake. Best food I've had in a long while. Everthing was excellent, especially the oysters.
The house made pretzels with cheese fondue are simply delicious!! And their local beers on tap offer a nice variety. A great place place to watch any sports game!
Antipasti overpriced, but the pretzel fondue was delicious and a bargain. Thr crab stuffed chicken was delicious. Cheesecake wasn't very good.Crustless, and more like mousse. Eeeew. Ok, nothing great.
Some of the best appetizers in Phoenix, like the soft pretzels with provolone fondue! Great happy hour spot, I also love the artichoke hummus and crispy shrimp.
Wow! Impressed from the moment we walked! Everyone is very friendly and attentive! Pretzels & fondue rock! Seafood cioppino is amazing! Drink a maid in mexico! Yum!
Ask your server about the charcuterie! The meats and cheeses are all different and full of flavor. If you've never had them, I highly recommend trying some out.
It's difficult to leave a tip when EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS DELICIOUS. If you can only go once don't be a snob—the pretzel fondue is as good as everyone says.
"10" . Possibly one of the best meals I've had all year. Oysters were perfect, scallops, filet, white fried shrimp were all fantastic!!! Great service and atmosphere.
There is nothing arrogant about this place except for the taste of the food. Flavors are so clean and bold with a pleasant twist. Service is great. pleasantly surprised
Disappointed. Salmon wasn't seasoned and the entire dish was very bland. Pretzel app was awful. Only thing good was the shrimp app and the made in Mexico drink. Wouldn't come here again.
They have happy hour on saturdays!!! These are the best pretzels I've ever had in my life, super soft and fresh.
Their apple and beet salad is awesome! So is the peanut butter cup for dessert. If you want something a little heavier, go for the potato fritters yum!
Dinner waiting time is AWFUL. First we waited around 30 minutes for a table and once we got sat, we waited for another 50 min to get our food. They don't even let you call ahead to reserve a table
Everything! Unique interpretation of favorites while stretching the limits into new deliciousness. Highly recommend if you are in the Phoenix area
WOW - best food I had in Phoenix. Get the Butcher's Platter, the hummus, & the pretzels with fondue, & one of their many awesome cocktails.
This restaurant has wonderful happy hour specials like soft pretzel fondue for $6 and cocktails for $4. They are unfortunately closed Sundays though.
Hummus is a must. I don't consider myself a fan of hummus but the artichoke hummus they serve is amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Ryan took great care of us. The food was fantastic! I had the salmon, my father had the chicken pot pie. The pretzels are to die for.
Friday special - king crab cioppino is to die for! Try the jambalaya and crab cake salad too if u want something yummy but light
Surpassed all expectations. Bartender Brian recommend the Jambalaya & Tortellini w/shrimp. My, my, my.
Enjoy the pretzel and cheese dip app, the turkey sloppy joe, and the hot choco cake. Its delish! Chip is a great server, ask for him.
Beet salad with champagne vinaigrette and scallops is delicious :) Love the ambience! Excellent service for a business lunch.
Happy Hour M-Sat 3-6 p.m.: Head over to “The Butch” for well drinks, wine specials, and select cocktails for $4, draft beers starting at $2, plus appetizers priced from $4-$8.
The sweet potato tortellini was amazing. Order the mule to drink, and don't forget to get your parking validated!
Another great Fox Restaurant Concept. Amazing service, atmosphere, prices (for the experience) and a fantastic burger!
As soon as you sit down, order a Polish Fix and an order of the pretzel rolls with fondue. You won't be sorry.
The pretzel balls with provolone fondue, sweet potato tortelli with shrimp, and the salted caramel pudding!!!
We had to have a quick bite. Food serving was very fast but the burger was just amazing and so juicy. Definitely will come again!
Part of the Fox Group. Great atmosphere, great service. Very expensive, but close to everything downtown Phoenix.
The Pork Carnitas and the Fish and Chips are superb! I could eat the pork carnitas all day...
Check out the Brews & Banter dinners... next one is August 15th! Enjoy 4 courses with beer pairings from Lumberyard!
Sea bass is terrible. Over crisped too much, greasy and lost the beautiful flavor and flaky lightness. Aside was good though
Food is amazing, service is awesome what more can be said .... Great place and will visit again
The jambalaya is excellent, as is the turkey sandwich. The cioppino, while yummy, is not authentic.
Try the Beef Short Rib Stew, it's delicious! But I've always gotten it without the egg.
House soft pretzels with Provolone fondue is quite possibly the most delicious this I've ever had.
Turkey sloppy Joe and the sweet potato pasta are must-try menu items.
The service is horrible, the food and drinks overpriced, the kitchen was dirty. Better Fox restaurant is Culinary dropout
Everyone likes the pretzel fondue, which is awesome; but, try the oysters!
Oysters fried chicken and dessert was wonderful. Great service too!
The Arrogant Butcher is a Fox Restaurant Concept located in CityScape Phoenix.
