Upscale dive-bar. Artisan public house. A place without TV to drink in the dark with your friends.
Great drinks and decor. They will also make you a custom drink if you don't like the current menu.
The menu is pretty simple, and you can always ask for drinks off menu. Specifically, the atmosphere is lowkey and unpretentious (the cocktail ingredients are explained in writing!!)
Summer 2015: get a vermouth flight! Carpano Bianco, carpano antica, cocchi americano, dolin blanc for instance.
If I lived in Ann Arbor, this would be my place. Interesting, quirky, friendly. Good cocktails and snacks.
White Russians are superb.
A secret hideout. Good beer selection. Has great food on select days.
This is my home bar. Eric and the staff are great. My standby: Manhattan on the rocks and a Genesee Cream Ale.
If it's there definitely get the punch.
One more Wednesday to enjoy amazing locally sourced carefully prepared comfort foods.
Try the Hokey Paloma!
Long custom cocktail list; and well equipped to make whatever strikes your fancy. If you see a seat on a Friday or Saturday, grab it. Great views out of the Braun CT windows on the south side.
Tucked away in one of my favorite AA hoods. Low key cocktail spot to hit with a small group (limit to 2 or 3).
Try the 327 challenge: go down the entire cocktail list in a single night!
