People tend to check in during these times:
A 1920's warehouse converted into a beautiful music & events venue in Brooklyn NY. Go Gowanus!
Best place in BK.
Great event space. Enough versatility for all of life's special occasions.
A friendly and fun night out. No horrible big groups of lads like back in the UK
Try the empanadas
Great time l
Bigger than it looks
Spacious. Good beer. Comfy couches.
Good show venue..cheap bar.
Poorly managed door/entrance for shows. Two separate occasions, two different disasters with ticket handling, communication, and host/hostesses at door.
The Rub party!
gorgeous venue… came here for a Brooklyn Book Fest party and had a ball.💃🏾 drinks are reasonably priced too!
I've caught a few shows here and like the space. Lots of great comedy. Good beer on tap. Make sure to show up a little early and grab a good seat!
Good food and the champagne of beers
Check the site for upcoming events.
Great venue for large events. Drinks are cheap but the wine selection is limited
Shows are good
A great, unpretentious spot to see comedy, music, and even a science lecture
It's hard not to love a spot throwing a 90s dance party
I'm here for the Secret Science Club.
It's a nice party place. A bit out of the city centre but w/ F & G you can be there in half an hour.
The rub here is always so much fun
Nice place for an event. Cookie takedown was good. No egg nog like was advertised. Very disappointed.
The photobooth's always broken but the giant space is great for a concert or dance party.
Hands down the best comedy venue in Brooklyn. Mixed seating, get there early.
Rock and roll.
The Kentucky Bourbon Barrel on tap is delicious (and has a high abv so be careful)! :)
Hands down my favorite venue in Brooklyn. Whether it's a dance party, a comedy show or a touring artist, the Bell House is the best. Drink cans of Sofia and feel fancy.
Great intimate music venue. Good beer selection
Watch NPR's trivia show Ask Me Another over beers for a raucous good time. Try not to hang from the chandeliers.
Hard to get to sketchy area but getting nicer throughout the years
Best to arrive at comedy shows here early. Seating very limited. Tho, probably shouldn't tell you that. It's gonna make me have to get here earlier. Know what? Forget I said anything. Plenty seating.
Very strict about IDs.
One of the really cool places near my house! I gotta get on the email list so I don't miss any neat events
You must bring your ID with you in order to enter, including for npr shows.... Definitely forgot mine :(
The staff is awesome !
The staff is TERRIBLE. SO Rude and disrespectful. Do not interact with them
Rudest, most uniformed staff I've ever encountered in my life.
Venue that also hosts the monthly Secret Science Club (see http://secretscienceclub.blogspot.com/), and annual Carnivorous Nights Taxidermy Contest.
Feels like Brooklyn Bowl. But better.
Bottles of Kaliber, which get poured into the same plastic cups as everything else, concealing your sober shame. #nonalcoholic
A wonderful venue for live music in an odd corner of Bklyn. The hall's not so big wherever you stand, there's a good view. Staff: kind & mellow, beer menu: interesting, plus: there's a photo booth!
Pretty stupid check in process for Night Vale event. No order or anyone to guide you to right place. Ticket taker is pretty rude and unhelpful.
Coat check: Waste of time. Bartenders: not enough. Location: mildly annoying. People: better than the city.
If you are going here to a seated show bring your own cushions. You won't be sorry.
Come for the shows/concerts/cookoffs, stay for the selection of craft beers! It's not the largest set of drafts in town, but they keep a variety of styles and usually a couple local brews.
Their ability to process tickets and get people into the show has gotten pretty abysmal over the last year - seems to consistently take at least an hour just to stamp hands and get a crowd in. :(
