Don't miss the USS Brooklyn. One of my favorite sandwiches. The half is more than enough food unless you're sharing. Chicken is perfectly spicy, bread has just the right texture… and that chutney!

1/2 of the USS Battleship. Perfect lunch if you like a little spice. Goes great with a beer. I'd order the German Weissbier to go with it.

Great little find with awesome southern food. Classic shrimp and grits, and chicken and dumplings. Sandwiches absolutely massive - streak was well cut, seasoned and cooked.

If there's a wait for a table, ask to sit on the patio where you can order drinks while you wait. The patio tables even have Trivial Pursuit cards to help pass the time!

Bayou biscuits are a little salty but yum! When it comes put the biscuits on top so it isn't soggy and you can actually taste how good their biscuits are with each bite. The pork grits are just ok.

Awesome portion size, real bang for your buck. However felt my lamb/beef patty was drowned out by the excessive salad and dressing flavors

Was not impressed. I read the reviews and everyone claimed this place was amazing. I got the USS Brooklyn. 1st, it was too big to fit into my mouth. 2nd, it was super spicy. Did not enjoy this at all.

One of the best restaurants in Richmond. Order half a battleship. Then watch everyone else who orders a full one and then spends their meal photographing.

The sausage gravy and biscuits make a proper example with fresh, buttery biscuits and a sausage gravy that’s never gloppy. You won’t leave hungry.
