Remember to go check out The Bourgeois Pig at 122 E. 7th St (btw Ave A and 1st Ave) in New York. (ps: added from my iPhone!)
A hidden treasure on 7th st, we recommend the Provence Punch bowl for you + 2. The bowl arrives with adorable tea cups! If you're a fan of St. Germain, there's not a lot you won't love on the menu.
Get the fondue! (either cheese or chocolate, both are good)
Wine and fondue...what can be better? We love to come here with friends and share the dark chocolate fondue. Be sure to come on a Monday or Tuesday for half-priced bottles of wine!
NYC never ceases to produce the hippest and coolest lounges and bars, and BP is definitely one of them. Perfect date spot! Try the baked brie fill and the molten chocolate cake dessert.
A chic, romantic lounge with a limited but excellent selection of specialty wine based cocktails, deserts, and fondues.
If you're not up for fondue, get the small plates. Highly recommend the goat cheese/mushroom bruscetta and montagne tartine.
Love the sangrias!!
Aaron the manager is sooooo dreamy.
This hideaway is a Victorian decorated bar in the East Village. My friends and I did the half-priced wine Tuesday. Intimate bar, chill, and yes bougie atmosphere.
Go on a Monday or Tuesday for the half-price bottles of wine. It's a great recession date night.
This is an upscale wine bar, where the mixed drinks include champagne or wine. Get a cheese plate, grab the couch or sit at a table and prepare to get comfortable with your neighbors.
Strawberry Brie Bruschetta and the 4 cheese fondue = sex on a platter.
Sam will remember your name.
Try the champagne punch. Goooooood especially the provence punch
The mushroom fondue was fantastic!!!! And try all their sangria's!!! Delightful summer drink!
Try a champagne cocktail - they're delicious!
Classic Swiss fondue is amazing but don't expect it to fill u up... All they have for dipping is bread and meager amount of veggies
Warning -- don't attempt to take photos in here, they have a no flash rule.
One of my favorite places in the city. Perfect chill spot with unique food appetizers and interesting beers/drinks that you won't find anywhere else in the city. Perfect for a date.
Get the punch bowl! It serves 3 to 4 people and comes out in a huge, ridiculous... punch bowl.
Best beignets save Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans!
Order the Blue Costello fondue and prepare for a delightful cheese coma.
Awesome beer cocktail! Try the Michelle if you are in the mood for a lighter fruity Bloody Mary.
Usually I'll find two or three dead mussels in every pot. This place had none. Pair it off with the lobster bisque fondue and a lovely bottle of your favorite red and enjoy yourself. Super cute!
The fondue is awesome.
Get the Michelle
Fucking love this place!
Don't order the Fino Fizz unless you prefer really strong, syrupy drinks
Lobster bisque fondue is mind numbingly tasty.
Arrive late for cheap drinks and ask the waitress for that day's 'sangria'
The 50/50 chocolate fondue is separated by a thick piece of cake
Gruyere Fondue + peanut butter milk chocolate fondue FTW
Too much balsamic on the salad though to be fair, most places have that problem. Fantastic and well seasoned carrots.
Warm up with the La Petite Pomme: a winter batch of Cocchi Americanco Blanc, apple cider and ginger bitters.
Incredible ambiance. Delightfully sophisticated first date spot - can't lose. Great wine selection at tolerable price points. Having lived in Paris, I'm impressed by the Pigalle feel.
Cool place, nice for groups before you go out.Get the bowls of champagne & try the French onion fondue! DELISH.
An intimate space perfect for fondue lovers. The place that made me love fondue even more.
They substitute Canada Dry club soda for the menu's Tom's handmade tonic in the Juniper & Tonic. At least use Schweppes as the Quinine might help fight off malaria in the 100 degree heat of this bar.
Michelle is definitely interesting - still deciding if I'd drink more than one.
BUBBLY IS SO BUBBLY
Nice atmosphere and great drinks! After looking at the menu, I will def eat here next time
They serve wine spritzers on tap from Brooklyn Soda Works, with flavours like hibiscus, ginger and jalapeno! http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/new-york/bourgeois-pig
French Onion Fondue w/ Gruyere Cheese is verrrrrrrry good
