The Bowery Electric is a music venue/nightclub/lounge located one block from the legendary CBGB’s. 2 Floors, Weekend Dance Party and nightly live music.
Love music concerts well cocktails
Cool place, fair price for the beer! Let's just hope it's not vanished for a fashion store as it happened with CBGB a few yards away
Typically has a cover of $5 or $10 for live music or DJs
Downstairs is great for live music. Very intimate and great acoustics.
Really cool venue! The downstairs area has a bar area elevated from the main space, so you can watch the show from two levels. The benches on the side are convenient!
Extremely fun dance floor downstairs! There are two lines - one to get in and one to get on the dance floor - but the wait is worth it. Plus, there's no cover!
The music and atmosphere is great.
One of my all time favorite places - worth the wait to get into the basement for some killer throwbacks
Wanna dance with your crew? Come here on a Friday or Saturday. But be prepared for lines to get into more lines if you get here a little after 11:45
Another one of NYC's best spots to see up and coming acts.
Great place for your daughter's Bat Mitzvah #ThisIsHowWeJewish
Great music venue
$7 House cocktails. $6 Heineken. Typical drink prices for NYC. Small lounge upstairs. Downstairs nice area for DJ dance parties.
DRAKE IS IN THE BUILDING
Solid dance floor in the basement
The best dance music
Formerly Dorian Grey on Wednesday nights.
Not too shabby! Fun music. All the dancing's downstairs-- smile, you're on camera!
They have live music both upstairs and downstairs.
$30 minimum for a credit card?
Sweet tunes and great dance floor. Mirror ball and everything.
The downstairs stage area is pretty cool. Just don't order a beer from the taps down there, they taste awful.
Noteworthy DJs, non-stop dance parties and a long line on Saturday nights make Bowery Electric a go-to for debauchery on Bowery.
Come here on Wednesdays for Dorian Gray! Amazing goth night hosted by Anna Evans and Kayvon Zand.
Downstairs has the best stage
This place sucks.

Look out for the rapist midget who lives in the bathroom under the toilet. He raped me.
Awesome music. X
This space, previously home to Remote Lounge, is known for its dance party, “The Electric Feel,” every weekend.
Watch out for the random steps in the back if you're at a reserved table. Especially if you're in heels and intoxicated.
Upon receiving her Emmy award - "Suck it Jesus! This is my golden God now!" -Kathy Griffin.
Perfect party room in the back available by reservation; this is where we had one of my close friend's 21st birthday and it was a huge hit!
If you like going to the bathroom occasionally, don't come here. It's difficult.
Too old for this crew. I'm 27. What?
I came here for a band and stayed afterwards for the great music and atmosphere. Really good vibe during the weeknights. The weekends get crazy!
Great venue with excellent sound and good standing space to see bands. The staff is accommodating and the bartenders are friendly.
Friday/Saturday night parties are great... Danced for like 4 hrs! Try the margaritas @ downstairs bar.
Come on Wed. nights for Old Soul Revival, great live music w/ no cover! Come get your dance on!
Head down to the basement if you feel like dancing the night away to awesome Motown music! You'll definitely need some energy for this dance floor.
Go downstairs. There's typically a list on Fri & Sat for groups. Ask around for the names of the reservations.
Two floors. Three bars. See a killer band in an intimate setting or dance the night away to fantastic DJs.
Monday nights is 45 night. Classic hip hop samples all night.
Ready for brothers moving!
Really cool venue with decently priced drinks. Music selection was the perfect mix of 90's and top 40.
Venue is actually 2 separate clubs in one building. The Bowery Electric is downstairs, and The Browery Electric is upstairs. If you're from NYU, don't ever go downstairs. EVER.
